Let's Go Back In Time - Part 10
It's time for another part of my photo series taken at the Astra Museum situated in Sibiu, Romania.
Under this straw roof, there is another old mill, operated by horses.
The whole structure is made of wood.
This must have been some kind of storage place, there's a chariot inside. The building is covered by straw and it has this shape so the snow won't remain on it for long. At some parts of the country winter can be tough.
The gate is made of wood, it's a sculpture actually ans the fence is also covered with straw.
These are the chariots you can see on the other photo. One is for transporting goods like grain, wood or everything else. The other was used for traveling. I can't imagine what was like.
This must have been a hen house or something similar.
