Let's Go Back In Time - Part 3
It's time for another photo series taken at the Astra Museum situated in Sibiu, Romania. If you missed the first two parts, you can check them out here:
Let's Go Back In Time - Part 1
Let's Go Back In Time - Part 2.
Have you ever seen a well like this? It's made almost entirely of wood and it's covered with shingles.
The chain is made of metal but the bucket is made of wood. In some small villages you can still see wells like this. This water is for free and it can be used for many things.
This is the interior of a house, it's some kind of storage room for different tools and I can see a scale hanging there.
A storage space, or some kind of barn I don't know how you call that.
This is one of my favorite photos. I love this door handle and lock. I've seen similar ones in villages. It's so vintage :)
This is another type of well, also common around here. There was no tap water back in the day, people were using these wells to drink, cook, clean and wash.
The storage space nest to the house where you can see the lower part of the chariot. These chariots were pulled by animals, usually horses, donkeys or cows in some cases.
More houses of the same type, all tiny and cute.
A closer photo of the two houses on the left. I don't know about you but I love them. i'm not saying I'd love to live in a house like that, probably it wouldn't be comfortable it looks great from the outside.
Stay tuned for the next part. I'm going to show you some old mills.

Good post, good idea to turn back and see strange things we don't used anymore.

I think it's important to know the past.
If you keep doing this great posts, I won't have to go there and actually visit the museum. 🙂
Have you ever thought what a wonderful guide you'll make?
Me? Naah, that's not for me, I'm just taking it so I can make a post 😀
You have to go visit the museum! It's a must!!
It surely is. Since I'm on Steemit I keep modify my "100 places to visit" list. Hmmm...perhaps I should change its name to "150 places to visit". 😂
Places To Visit would be more accurate :)
Exactly 😂
See? No need to cut back! 😉
Really cool and interesting photos. It's like being transported into the medieval times.
Thanks for sharing, @erikah!
I'm glad I could offer something interesting. Thank you @trincowski :)
