A new week and more matches on the program. There are 1/16 finals cup matches the next 3 days. This is the first round where 1st division teams enter and usually there is a very bac coverage on tv/radio and only a little available on the asian betting markets. I'll see how it goes and had a brief look already at the matches for today. It's always hard to estimate these matches properly and rotation is often a key factor.

Ronse vs Racing Genk

Racing Genk has played quite poorly this season and is ahead of an important derby against Stvv and a champions league match against Napoli. Coach Mazzu will rotate against Ronse who play in 2nd amateur league where they are currently 5th in the standings. Important striker Samatta will start on the bench while players like Berghe aren't even in the selection. The quality gap should still be quite big though.

Cercle Brugge vs Rebecq

Cercle Brugge at times played ok and will play against the 13th of 2nd amateur of the French Part in Belgium. Cercle coach will give a couple of players rest (Taravel, Dabila and possibly goalkeeper Badiashile). They also will give the income of this match to Rebecq to support amateur football.

Waasland-Beveren vs Westerlo

This is the only match where odds are currently available on the asian market. The level of 2nd division is close and sometimes even higher compared to the bottom of the 1st division teams. Often there is also extra motivation for the lower division teams which nearly always makes it a competitive matchup. Westerlo is currently in 4th place in 2nd division and their coach is known not to take the cup serious. Frow what I'm reading, he will be rotating some A-Squad players. it will possibly be the debut of new striker Emenike but it's unsure yet if they will get him to be allowed to play in this match
