Episode 4: Fisto Rescues the Gummi Bears

With Fisto now reunited with Stridor, they head north into the Eternian Highlands to Se’Andar, on their mission to rescue the Gummi Bears from Duke Sigmund Igthorn, who had caught them and was holding them in Caslte Drekmore. They decide to stick to the coastal regions because the Dragonslayer Mountains would just take way to long to go over, and... there are dragons there!!

They arrive at the far north-east corner of Eternia, and on the outskirts of Se’Andar, where they see two of Duke Igthorn's dumb ogres in the distance. "GadZook!! Look over there!! It's Gad and Zook, we must be close." Fisto and Stridor disappear into the thick bush, and make their way silently towards where the ogres are standing guard.

The path where the ogres are standing is on a bend, and as Fisto and Stridor geat nearer, they around the bend to the open gates to Castle Drekmore. Lady Bane is outside the Castle with two of her Troggles, one named @user0103283, an infamouse Gummi Bear eater, eating two whole packs in one sitting. They can hear Lady Bane scolding them, "No! you can't eat these Gummi Bears!! Go and find me more Gummiberries!!" The Troggles set of in th opposite direction, and disappears through what looks like portal.

While nobody is looking, Fisto and Stridor leap out of the bush, right behind the ogres, and with a mighty blow from his fist, Fisto knocks them unconcious and drags them into the bushes and ties them up. Just as he finishes the job, he hears a rustle in the bush and draws his sword. He is about to take a swing at the moving leaves, when out pops a young boy. "Fisto!! Thank goodness you're hear! Exclaims the boy. Lady Bane has Zummi's Gummi Medallion, and is about to fuse it with her own. If she is forcing Zummi to make a batch of potion to use to fuse them together. She's sent @user0103283 back to the enchanted forrest. If he makes it back, it'll be all over for us all!"

"Okay, okay!! Pipe down little fella! Who are you, and how do you know all this?" Asks Fisto. "And how do you know who I am?"

"I am Cavin. My father is Sir Gawain of Dunwin. He has told me of the Legend of Fisto, who saved the Master Of The Universe from the Snake Men. I followed Duke Igthorn through the portal after he captured Cubbi. We need to save the Gummi Bears and get the medallions back," explains Cavin, "or Lady Bane and Duke Igthorn will be unstoppable!!"

"Look like we've got no time to lose then. Let's get going." Fisto throws Cavin onto the back of Stridor, and they head through the trees towards the caslte.

"I know a side entrance, there on the left. Nobody is guarding it, and I can get us to where the Gummi Bears are being kept." Says Cavin. "But your horse won't fit through the openning. He'll have to stay outside."

As they arrive to the small entrance, Fisto tells Stidor to "Stay out of sight, and as soon as the Gummi Bears come out, load them up and get them back to safety in Gothlindir. Don't wait for me!" Fisto and Cavin disappear through the openning, and Cavin guides him through a maze of tunnels and secret rooms, with doors leading into the main rooms within the castle. "How do you know where you're going?" asks Fisto quietly. Fisto sneaks a look through a crak in one of the doors, and sees some ogrea, fast asleep. He reaches for his sword, but Cavin hold him back. "No, we need to get to the Gummi Bears first" he whispers.

Cavin points to a trail of little pebbles he has left on the floor as he has explored the castle. "I've been here a few days waiting for someone to come, and made sure I know my way in and out of here. This is the only way in without being found."

After a short while they reach a door, and the pebble trail ends. "This is it" says Cavin, "the room where the Gummi Bears are. There are more ogres outside. We must be quite."

"Yeah, got ya." Says Fisto, as he peers through a crack. He sees the Gummi Bears lockes in a cage, and Zummi sweating over a coldron, making his potion. There is nobody guarding them in the room.

Fisto and Cavin open the secret door quietly, and enter the room. "CAV..!" Exclaims Cubbi, as Sunni covers his mouth. The room falls silent, and they listen for any movement outside the room. They can hear the voice of Lady Bane gettin closer and closer.

Fisto whispers to the Gummir Bears "Stand back, I'm going to open the cage. As soon as you're all free, go with Cavin. Stridor will get you to safety. Be very quiet." Fisto draws his sword, and with one slash, the cage flings open, making a very loud noise.

"What's going on in there!!" Comes the loud, angry voice of Lady Bane, right by the door. "Open this door NOW!!! Why isn't one of you inside watching the prisoners!!!"

"RUN!!" Shouts Fisto. "Get out now!!" The Gummi Bears file through the secret door, and follow Cavin through the tunnels, and out of the castle. As he is about to leave, Zummi hands Fisto a potion. "Drink this! And thank you!!"

Without thinking, Fisto downs the potion, and closes the secret door. He turns to face th other door as it slams open. All of a sudden he feels electricity pulsating through his body. He raises his sword and charges through the first wave of ogres, slicing them in four, with three mightly slashes. He continues, and Lady Bane tries to cast her magic death spell on him, but it has no effect. Zummi's anti-spell potion had worked!! Fisto reaches Lady Bane, and thrusts his sword into her belly, and out between her shoulder blades, lifting her into the air. He spins around, withdrawing the sword sideways, and Lady Bane's lifeless body falls to the floor.

Out of nowhere, purple smoke fills the room and forms into a tornado as Lady Bane's body turns to ashes. The tornado sweeps up the ashes and flies out through the window. As it disappears, Fisto hears Lady Bane's voice "You haven't seen the last of me Gummi Bears!!"

Fisto looks down and sees that both Gummi Medallions are on the floor. He retrieves them and puts them into his jock (he has no pockets), and walks out through the main door, just in time to see the ogres, Duke Igthorn and the troggles retreating to the portal.

Fisot walks out of the main gate, and Stridor is waiting for him outside the Caslte, Cavin, and all the Gummi Bears on his back.

"I thought I told you not to wait" chuckles Fisto "but when did you ever listen to me!" Fisto hands the medallions back to Zummi, and they walk off down the road back toward Gothlindir.

The Gummi Bears are safe!!
