Frightmare Mansion - Chapter 14 _ The Creeper

Later that evening, I'm in my bedroom, going through the study desk getting ready for upcoming homework. I take a sip of the hot coco Mom sat on the desk for me earlier. I started going through a lot of old school work from Lila's day. It's hard to believe this work is almost 60 years old.
Hey, what's this big file drawer under her desk? I pull it open and at the very bottom of that, a stack of drawings, probably from her art class.

As I go through them, I'm so impressed, she was really good. Her trees and water are so much like my sketching style. My eyes stop on this bad ass drawing of a black stallion. It's absolutely gorgeous. I quickly pin it up next to my own work, I sit back on the desk chair in total shock. It actually blends seamlessly with my artwork, you could swear I drew it. I continue diving deeper into the stack of drawings, each one more beautiful than the next.

At the very bottom, I find what I could only call very hideous drawings of strange creatures. All different sorts, and her style seems to have changed too, a much darker mood is apparent, the line work is heavier, the tones are much sharper. One of the drawings drops from my hand, almost like someone pulled it loose to get my attention. A horrible little creature is depicted standing on a window ledge.

The thing was really creepy, a big head like Justin's, but it's small in proportion to the window. Maybe the size of one of those mega rats. That chill shoots up my spine again as I realize the ornaments on the window boarders match my window exactly! I pick up that grotesque drawing and that awful chill continues undulating up and down my spine! I throw the drawing back on the pile of school work.

I look over to my window, the curtains are pulled back letting the moonlight in. The shadow of a nearby tree dances on the wall as the wind rustles through the leaves. I quickly go over and push the window shut and close the curtains. Everything seems to get very quiet, as the noise from the outside world no longer exist.
