New home for the Fiction Workshop, plus others
As I mentioned in my post YESTERDAY I am no longer part of the Minnow Support Project. Neither is the Fiction Workshop or its core membership. The fiction workshop, and therefore @sft, have a new home where business carries on as usual: work can be submitted for critique, themes and ideas can be worked on and all things fiction discussed with the friendliest bunch of people you could ever wish to find.
@rhondak, @bex-dk and @carolkean are still on board, lending their immense experience and expertise, along with the rest of the talented team. In addition we have a poetry workshop headed by @geke and @sunravelme and a playwright workshop, headed by @pegasusphysics. We also have a non-fiction workshop to help with other topics that don't fall under the umbrella of the other disciplines.

I have to say it is indeed nice being able to spread out and put channels in to fill niche needs, and not worry about how busy those channels stay or don't stay. This never even pinged my radar as an issue in our old workspace, but now that we have all this room. . .wow. It really is nice. We've enjoyed a steady flow of new and familiar faces and the atmosphere continues to be quite relaxed. The twisted humor hasn't dialed down a bit, either. I laughed so hard yesterday I thought I was going to burst an aneurysm.
I also love how decentralized it all is.... seems appropriate for a Steemit group!

Three and a half months ago when I downloaded discord and ended up in general chat, you immediately took me under your wing and helped me. Your mass amount of patience as you held my hand and walked me through the steps, even reaching into your own pocket, was super generous and kind. And memorable.
You helped an overwhelmed girl more than you know, and I just wanted to swing by and extend my sincere gratitude.

I started writing a book 10 years ago, do you think its something I should finish? would it be worth while to submit unfinished and ask you if I should finish????
Definitely. It may give you the push to complete it, or even start something new to get you motivated.

I am sure it will look much different by the time I am back from my trip, but I hope to check in lots hwile I'm there. I'm going to miss everyone otherwise.
It's not just down to me, many hands were at work. I love our new home, you will be sorely missed while away on your trip.
