Exquisite Corpse Revival

Three weeks ago, I invited readers to join me in a writing exercise called exquisite corpse. The idea is to write in a sort of relay where one person starts the story, the next person adds to it, and so on. I got a few participants to join and we kicked off the story. I wrote the first leg, which you can read here.

@calluna followed up with a very good addition to the set up. You can read her part of the story here.

Unfortunately, the next person in line has not followed through, so I'm going to revive the exquisite corpse and pass the baton to the next person on the list, which is @blueteddy. Following @blueteddy in the line up are @foxyspirit, @fromage, and @quillfire.

Initially, I was giving everyone seven days to add their part to the story. I'd like to speed things up. If we can publish the next segment in three days, that would be nice. If you still need seven days, no problem. No requirement to publish sooner, but I'd like to get them done sooner so people don't lose interest.

As a reminder, here are the rules we're working with:

• Pick up the story where the previous writer left off and write it on your Steemit blog.
• Your post should be between 350 and 1,000 words.
• Pick up the story where the writer before you left off.
• Introduce the exquisite corpse concept so your readers know what they are reading.
• You can take the story in any direction you want, but try to make it fit together with the rest of the story.
• Tag the next writer to let them know it's their turn (it's also a good idea to tag all participants so we can all keep up).
