WORD POETRY CHALLENGE #6 : TIME

Time is measured in many ways, hour, minute or seconds
A time to live, a time to die, and a time for having fun
Time is a thing no man's wealth can buy
And having it, all fate you may defy.

If you have a work to do, Now is the time
While you have the zeal and notion to do it
Else in shame you will hobble through it out of time.

Some spend their time and some people save it
Some have it all and some lost it
Some people have lots of time to spare
Others spend their time not having to care
Some spend their time mad, and some spend their time sad
But for some people time is all they ever had

If there ever comes a time when time will be no more
I wonder how we will know how to quit or when it was before
Do we have to be in haste? Do we have to be slow? It all depends on time
Remember had we started earlier we would have finished by this time....
