First Bike Ride of the year /36.2 km in total/. Part 1 - The Dredger
Finally, the snow melted and we waited for the proper weather for the bike tour. Every year in the spring, my husband and I go to the forest in search of the first spring flowers. It is worth saying that they do not grow in every forest. Sometimes we are lucky, sometimes not.This year we have chosen a familiar place, from my very first Steemit Post. https://steemit.com/photography/@erikaflynn/first-sping-flowers I really wanted to see this flower path again.

The shortest way to it ran past the Blue Lakes through the dredger, the forest belt and the village of Tokari, it is about 12 kilometers one way.
Not much for the first ride. But everything turned out not as simple as we expected. We were faced with some difficulties that made our way much longer... maybe even more interesting ... you judge. But first things first. Today I share the first part of the trip, from the edge of the city to the dredger, a length of 6.6 km (red line on my map). Let's go!

Самый короткий путь к ней пролегал мимо Голубых Озер через земснаряд, лесополосу и деревню Токари, это примерно 12 километров в одну сторону. Немного для первой поездки.
Но все оказалось не так просто как мы ожидали. Мы столкнулись с некоторыми трудностями, которые сделали наш путь намного длинее... возможно даже интереснее... вам судить. Но обо всем по порядку. That was the last dacha sector on the city edge. The water behind the trees is the larger of the two Blue Lakes, reservoirs created by man in the 60's as a consequence of the picking of sand by a dredge. Now it moved a little further and seems to be digging the third lake:-) The road to this new lake is not the best, it is broken, sometimes wet, but passable.
То был последний дачный участок в черте города. Водоем за деревьями - это большее из двух Голубых Озер, созданных человеком в 60-х годах как следствие отбора песка земснарядом. Сейчас он переместился немного дальше и кажется копает третье озеро:-) Дорога к нему не самая лучшая, разбитая, местами мокрая, но проходимая.
At this point we stayed a bit and looked around. Here there was a watchman and a couple of dogs but they did not touch us, and we quietly walked and took some photos

Further along the road, about 100 meters from the dredger, was growing a pretty nice pussy-willow bush

and on both sides of the road everything was flooded with high water from melted snow.

The road was washed away by a stream of thawed water. I see a piece of the road under my feet, and its continuation on the other side. Literally 0.5 km separates us from the village, even the first houses are visible on the hill, but I understand that we do not get there. The water flow was too wide to cross it by feet, and too deep to ride through on the bike. In summer time I would consider the option to take off my boots and go barefoot, but now the water temperature is only slightly above zero ...
Дорога была размыта потоком талой воды. Я вижу кусок дороги у себя под ногами, и ее продолжение - с другой стороны. Буквально 0,5км отделяет нас от деревни, на холме даже видны уже первые дома, но я понимаю, что нам туда не попасть. Поток воды был достаточно широким, чтобы его нельзя было перейти пешком, и довольно глубоким, чтобы его переехать. Летом я бы рассмотрела вариант снять ботинки и перейти босиком, но сейчас температура воды лишь немного выше нуля...
We had to think about another option and find alternative path to the willage.

I'm not sure about this part. I think you mean "crossed", not "skipped". Still the sentence has problems. I have the feeling the river was TOO WIDE to cross. And the stream too deep. It would make sense.

Красивые фотографии). Иногда полезно делать такие вылазки на природу. Мне понравилась Верба, я бы не отказалась иметь такой кустик у себя во дворе))).
Да, верба весной красиво смотрится, и кустики у нее обычно небольшие. Но мне тут сажать некуда, поэтому я так, пару веточек срезала, дома в вазочку поставила и любуюсь пушистиками:-)

У меня тоже много таких вылазок на природу, но, с наступлением весны, до темноты провожу время на улице и остается мало на Стимит... Постараюсь сегодня выложить "мои" весенние цветы. :-)

Вот и у меня такое... В прошлом году с наступлением лета в село уехала, красота, материала куча, а времени хватало только на бессмысленные колорчеленджи. Так, чисто чтобы обозначить себя, что я еще не совсем мертвый юзер. Хоть сейчас немного попишу, пока еще огороды не начались.
А "< hr >" зачем использовать? он же вроде заголовки делает, а их у меня не планировалось...
Согласен на 100%. У меня тоже по одной фотке на конкурсы выставлять получается - на это надо немного времени.
< hr > без пробелов автоматически рисует горизонтальную линию на всю длину.
и правда, работает! а я вечно голову ломаю, сколько ж надо поставить этих черточек и br, чтобы оно превратилось в сплошную линию:-)

Oh wow, that definitely looks like an adventure! Thanks for sharing pics along your way! I like the pussy willows!! I have seen those in flower arrangements before but never in real life!
In our region the willow can often be found in marsh land outside the city, but pussies on it you can only see in early spring. We are on time
When I ride a bike, I like to stop and take a photo of beautiful things/unusual places that impresses me. But the husband likes fast riding... We always have disagreement at such moments, but I manage to capture at least something:-)))
That's quite a cold obstacle.. but a beautiful day for a ride. The picture of your husband riding up towards a pile of something with a crane on top. Is that salt, snow or sand? What is that? Thanks for sharing your adventure and I look forward to part 2.
That was a sand quarry, here sand is extracted for housing construction.

Interesting place to ride. But after the snow melting, the slush on the paths can make it quite a mess. And without mudguards, the rider is forever getting smacked on the face with mud! Experienced it far too many times :D

It's true, dirt is evil. Therefore, I always ride with protection, unlike my husband, who has a certain amount of dirt on his back:-(
What a bummer to get so close just to get stopped by that water. I hope you found another way to go see all the wildflowers!
