MY VOCAB PRACTICE

  1. I develop claustrophobia every time I get onto a plane, the plane feel super small with all those people in there.
  2. We turned my cousin into a claustrophobic by locking her in a tiny closet for a weekend.
  3. Men who work on sky-scrapers would be unable to work if they had acrophobia because they are so far off the ground.
  4. For being the melting pot of the world the culture in the United States is still ingrained with xenophobia as can be seen by the way the current president treats anyone he suspects of not being born in the United States.
  5. Claire has had hydrophobia since her aunt threw her into the pool before she knew how to swim, she almost drown and has been scared of water since.

MY VOCAB PRACTICE

  1. I have claustrophobia since childhood.
  2. My friends know that I am claustrophobic and they support me.
  3. Acrophobia is dangerous for some people. They can't tolerate hight and their blood pressure heart rate gets abnormal.
  4. I don't know how do xenophobia developed but it's sad though for the person who suffers through it and the one who suffers because of it.
  5. I don't have hydrophobia but wife have it she fears of water and I take care that she is not around water alone. I am always with her.

    I am claustrophobic: I found out one day at work when my car got stuck between two tractors.

  3. Acrophobia
    Minor heights, like trees, are no problem; skyscrapers trigger my acrophobia.

  4. Xenophobia
    I used to think that xenophobia was a result of ignorance; now, I think it's the result of willful ignorance.

  5. Hydrophobia
    While I have plenty of phobias, Hydrophobia has never been one.

    The challenge to test my acrophobia came when Charles held me by the shirt near the cliff's edge.

  4. Xenophobia:
    Xenophobia is rampant in the American text books we were made to read throughout our schooling years.

  5. Hydrophobia:
    I got over hydrophobia when I was hypnotized and realize I came out of water when my mother gave birth.

  1. Claustrophobia.
    She developed claustrophobia after she had been placed in the imaging tunnel-like machine for her MRI procedure at the imaging center.

  2. Claustrophobic.
    Thus, she is now claustrophobic due to that experience and the different intensity of sound noises that the machine makes.

  3. Acrophobia.
    Not all people have acrophobia some actually enjoy the ultimate view from the top and are awed by the feeling it provides them.

  4. Xenophobia.
    I think the world would be a better place if all cultures do away with xenophobia and instead begin to learn the faiths, beliefs, traditions, and values of other cultures.

  5. Hydrophobia.
    You are more likely to feel hydrophobia when you’re on a cruise at sea and suddenly the ship malfunction to the point that it is now sinking under water.
