Nutritional screening support | Next Sunday July 7th!

Finally, we have a date for the first nutritional screening carried out with the help of the steem blockchain.

The same will be held on Sunday July 07 from 10 am and will have the support of the foundations Corazon de Leon and Operativo Solidaridad, which will be working together with us and a team of nutritionists to address the nutritional cases of the community of Pitahaya located in the state of Miranda.

During this activity we will be offering a nutritional screening to people in the community under the standards established clinically to determine whether or not they suffer from a case of malnutrition which helps us to delimit the population to be helped in that sector during our next activities.

This is the first step in our "Food for Life" program, which seeks to provide food support to vulnerable communities within the country.

Logistics:

The logistics implemented for this activity consists of trained personnel, medical equipment, transportation and lunch for the community and volunteers.

Costs:

Medical equipment: completed in previous campaigns.
Transportation: 150 STEEM (to be cancelled on the day of the event).
Lunch: 150 STEEM (Partially cancelled).

Margin of error:

In our previous campaigns we had predicted a total of $5 per day for the food issue of 10 people and a total of $5 per day for transportation, however motivated by the constant changes in hyperinflation that hit the country these numbers have fallen short.

The logistics around food went from $5 to $50 to cover the needs not only of the volunteer team but also to provide a meal to this vulnerable community.

The total cost of transportation went from $5 to $50 to cover the round trip of the 10 doctors from the city of Caracas located in the Capital District to the city of Charallave located in the state of Miranda.

To this end we had to resort to our savings within the project leaving us with a minority margin of only +/- 15 SBD and +/- 6 STEEM for future activities.

zaxan is also using part of its own savings to cover other minor expenses such as drinking water and internal staff transportation.

Call for support:

We continue to solicit full support from the Steem community. We know that the cost of steem is still at a static margin of $0.35 and it is not profitable for many to support certain projects, however we hope that people will continue to believe in us and use the means at their disposal to support us:

Trial and error:

Based on this experience we hope to be able to better calculate the costs of organizing activities and maintain a margin of at least 20 % above the calculated cost to avoid being hit by hyperinflation caused by the economic crisis in Venezuela.

Finalmente ya tenemos fecha para el primer despistaje nutricional realizado con la ayuda de la steem blockchain.

El mismo será realizado el próximo Domingo 07 de Julio a partir de las 10 de la mañana y contará con el apoyo de las fundaciones Corazon de Leon y Operativo Solidaridad, las cuales estarán trabajando en conjunto con nosotros y un equipo de nutricionistas para poder atender los casos nutricionales de la comunidad de Pitahaya ubicada en el estado Miranda.

Durante esta actividad se estará ofreciendo un despistaje nutricional a las personas de la comunidad bajo los estándares establecidos clínicamente para determinar si sufren o no de un caso de desnutrición lo cual nos ayuda a delimitar la población a ser ayudada en dicho sector durante nuestras próximas actividades.

Este es el primer paso planteado anteriormente para poder realizar la debida atención en nuestro programa "Food for life", el cual busca brindar un apoyo alimenticio a comunidades vulnerables dentro del país.

Logística:

La logística implementada para esta actividad se encuentra conformada por personal capacitado, equipos médicos, transporte y almuerzo para la comunidad y voluntarios.

Costos:

Equipos medicos: completado en campañas anteriores.
Transporte: 150 STEEM (por ser cancelados el día del evento).
Almuerzo: 150 STEEM (Cancelado parcialmente).

Margen de error:

En nuestras campañas anteriores habíamos predicho un total de $5 dolares por dia para el tema alimenticio de 10 personas y un total $5 por dia para el transporte, sin embargo motivado a los constantes cambios en la hiperinflación que azotó el país estos números han quedado cortos.

La logística en torno a comida pasó de $5 a $50 para cubrir las necesidades no solo del equipo voluntario sino además poder brindar una comida a esta comunidad vulnerable.

El costo total del transporte pasó de $5 a $50 para cubrir el viaje ida y vuelta de los 10 médicos desde la ciudad de Caracas ubicada en el Distrito Capital hasta la ciudad de Charallave ubicada en el estado Miranda.

Para tal fin tuvimos que recurrir a nuestros ahorros dentro del proyecto dejándonos con un margen minoritario de tan solo +/- 15 SBD y +/- 6 STEEM para futuras actividades.

@zaxan está usando también parte de sus propios ahorros para cubrir otros gastos menores como agua potable y transporte interno del personal.
