A. Actifit - Steem Mentor Team #2

Last week, I started partnering with Actifit to recruit Actifit mentors to join Steem Mentor Team #2. Actifit community has proven to be one of the most active community bringing much value to Steem.

The whole purpose of the "Be A Mentor" Program is to grow the Steem Blockchain.

• Mentors reach out to new users and onboard them onto Steem
• Mentors also engage with newbies or any users on Steem who have not started using the Actifit app.

From my experience, I witness that when newbies have a mentor guiding them with a personal touch, they become much more engaged and are less likely to drop out so quickly at the initial critical stage on Steem.

B. Recruiting Actifit Mentors

Last week, I sent out an official post to invite Actifit users to apply for the Actifit mentorship program Round 1. This is surely a great opportunity for the community of Actifit users to work together to grow the Actifit community.

As a mentor, he is a guide, a leader and a teacher.

The mentee is his student and follower.

We are only half way through the week, and so far we have already received 6 applications. They have all been accepted to participate in the Actifit Mentorship Program Round 1.

It is great to see the enthusiasm of the Actifit community in taking up this great challenge of joining the Steem Mentor Team #2 | Actifit Mentors.

C. Let's meet our First 6 Actifit Mentors

I am proud to introduce to you our first 6 Actifit Mentors. More will come later on this week as we continue to receive applications. In case there are some people who are not sure how to apply, here are some sample applications for your reference.

I am a dedicated actifitter and sharing few details about my actifit journey and till now.

My steem reputation is 61.
My actifit rank is 43.5
I have completed almost 6 months working with Actifit.
I have posted 131 actifit reports and have over 11k AFIT tokens
Since 13 Jan 2019 onwards I posted daily reports with 10k or more step

Actifit has become part of life as its helping people to stay fit and I am one of them. This app is always ON in my phone and I am getting paid for staying fit. There no such fitness app exist which can beat actifit.

Today with this post I want to show my first job- application for the Actifit Mentor Program: this is an amazing idea from @mcfarhat and @rosatravels and it will take a lot of new users in @actifit. This is the reason why I am here and I want to take part of that!

I joined @actifit almost at the beginning of this project and some weeks ago I became the Italian Ambassador there. This is an important role and I will be a good mentor for all the users who will want to know better @actifit and how it works.

D. Applications Are Still Open.

The application is still open for more Actifit users to apply to take part in this Steem Mentor Team #2: Actifit Mentors

• They are required to write a post with the heading: I am applying to be an Actifit Mentor.

• Put their post link in the comments of this post here

• Tag five friends to join and get their support.

E. Requirements to be an Actifit Mentor

• Actifit mentor needs a reputation of at least 50
• Actifit mentor needs to have at least 30 Reports on your Actifit Activity

Please Note: Moderators and ambassadors are automatically eligible for participation without the need for the minimum requirements as we want to invite all moderators and ambassadors to participate! Please write a post of your application ASAP.

F. A Successful Actifit Mentor

• Onboard newcomers to use the Actifit App outside of Steem and newbies on Steem
• Use the referral link to invite them to download the Actifit app
• The mentee needs to have 10 Activities on their dashboard at the end of the mentoring work

G. Role of a Successful Actifit Mentor

• Reach out to people outside of Steem via social media such as FB, IG, Twitter, Linkedin, etc
• Reach out to potential newbies on Steem and welcome them! Use the #introduceyourself and #introducemyself tags
• Introduce Actifit app to mentees
• Show them how to sign up to the Actifit website.
• Help them download the Actifit app.
• Guide the mentees the advantages of using the Actifit App. Let them know how long you have been using Actifit app and why it is so great for you.
• Help the mentees to start their Activities right away.
• Follow up on the mentees to keep moving for the following days to increase their Activity reports.

H. Rewards

The founder @Mcfarhat will reward the mentors for their hard work.

Each mentor can aim to mentor 10 students in this 1st Round.

Upcoming Events - April 25, 2019

There are still a few more days to go to apply for the Actifit mentorship program Round 1. This is the time to join the Actifit Mentors team as they work together for the growth of the Actifit community and also for Steem on the whole.

On April 25, 2019, I will write another update to complete the list of Actifit Mentors Round 1.

I will also write another detailed post to give some tips to our Actifit mentors on how to onboard new people to use the Actifit app effectively.

I am truly excited to see the Steem Mentor Team #2 in action. What about you?
