This is the project to translate the website of GDevelop. GDevelop is an open-source game creation software, allowing to make games for the web (HTML5), iOS, Android or desktop. No coding skills are required: it is easy to use and powerful enough for advanced users.

I chose this project to translate because it seemed that I could handle this project, although I'm not a gamer myself. After the OpenCart project had been shut down, I had to find a new second project and this seemed like it was the best fit at the moment. The reason that I only translated 593 words instead of 1000+ is actually that it was promised to another translator. I didn't know this, and therefore I stopped translating it immediately after I found out that this was the case. Although I didn't translate a big part of the project, I still learned that in the gaming world I should keep things informal instead of formal. Thank you for your advice @misslasvegas. The rest of this project will be translated by another translator, meaning this was the end of this project for me.

This was your first (and last 😂) contribution to the GDevelop translation project. There was a little misunderstanding about who was going to do what, but this was solved right away. We're all human, and we all make mistakes.
As with the translation, it was done very well but I had to comment on the fact that you used a more formal way of addressing people, while I believe that in this world (the gaming world), an informal way is more fitting. Also, the word gaming, should not be translated, since it's widely used in the Netherlands by people of all ages. This was all remedied in no time, so in the end, there were no issues at all with the translation.
It's a pity it had to be so short.
However, I am looking forward to whichever project you'll be working on next.
