ULog#30: It's Salt and Pepper Chicken Time!

         Summer is here! And the fatigue is setting in already. I guess I am getting old. On the plus side, spending more time with friends and family has been rewarding.

         With the warm weather, the food trucks are showing up in the neighborhood again. The lazy part of me would wind up eating out more often than I should. Thanks to my goal this year, I have managed to keep the cost in check.

         At the very least, I still get to have some salt and pepper chicken!

In Life

         Same old, same old. Work has been somewhat hectic as more turnover occurred. I guess that's what happens when leadership positions become available throughout the field. Many of my more experienced colleagues chose to jump ship or transfer.

         The prospect of becoming surrounded by newbies does seem daunting. I suppose I could use the opportunity to use that as a stepping stone for future progress.

         Driving on the freeway can be a pain now with how bright it is in the evenings. Sometimes, even a good pair of shades don't help you see with clarity. The constructions along the I-15 continues. There is never a day I have not seen some sort of roadwork on there. At least, the roads are being widened this time.

         The digital declutter project is still going. I am at year 2011 now. I still have about four more years of nonsense to dig and burn through.

         Family is doing okay. No news is always good news in my book.

In Steem

Is there any good news besides the hysteria surrounding the upcoming hard fork? A part of me feels that the negativity has drowned out anything optimistic on the chain.

         Oh wait, that's not the issue. The real issue is that content discovery is lame and I wouldn't know anything unless I tried to look for things. There is plenty of drama when you look for it.

         Whatever side of the fence(s) you sit on about HF21, it needs to happen. The current status quo does not work. Steem is behaving like a stable coin at $0.40 as BTC soars past $10K. Good thing? Bad thing? Who knows?

         Remember to diversify and any loss you may accrue on here is nothing.

         To close, don't worry too much about Libra. It will facilitate regulations and bring crypto to the other 99% of the people who do not care. Too many people want their coin to dominate when they would make a hefty sum with 1-2% of people buying in alone.
