What an interesting place! I love that you included lots of different parts of life in Bago, including the tea leaf salad which looks very interesting. Can you taste the tea flavor at all?

Okay, I'm back... Firstly, happy new year! I hope you had a great start.
The Kanbawzathadi Palace looks amazing with its architecture. I wonder how wide the area is. The temples reminded me of my visit to Cambodia with my friend. We exhausted ourselves hiking and climbing through temples though those were mostly ruins from their ancient history.
There are bills on the platform in front of the python. Are those offerings to the python? Who collects those at the end of the day?
The Lahpet Thoke looks interesting thought it does not look like a salad at all. It looks like the leaves were cooked! I thought salads are prepared raw? 😃
Wonderful captured pictures @marcelgoo and informative travel journal too 😉 the tuk tuk is a bit unique too 😉 looks like odong-odong in Indonesia and that's a huge buddha statues... never seen ine with the smile on his face too. Thanks for sharing
I found your post through @macoolette entry post in the pay it forward contest this week. Have a safe trip😉
