#1 Exploring Crater Lake - one of the 7 Wonders of Oregon | Photo Album

@lilyraabe takes us to the lake in the USA. The Crater Lake is nearly 2000 feet deep and was formed some 7700 years ago when the volcano collapsed. After camping in the National Park, she sets out early the next morning to explore the rim of the crater. A 1.5 mile hike takes her 300 feet further up where she gets a birds eye view of the region. The most fascinating feature around the area are the 20 to 50 feet tall pinnacles formed before the volcano collapsed. And as a bonus, she also saw hundreds of blue butterflies by the waterfall.

#2 Walk through the lanes and absorb the history at 'Talat Noi' (ตลาดน้อย)

The next featured post is from @waybeyondpadthai, she went to visit a exotic and historial area in Bangkok Thailand after reading about it online. The area has a lot of old-fasioned Chinese style buildings, street vendors wheeling their products around, and being Thailand, a traditional buddhist temple. Sounds like an interesting place to check out!

#3 The Tradition of Pasalubong

If you visit Philippines and are wondering what to buy as a souvenir, then you need to check out @watersnake101's post where he takes us to buy some local delicacies. The most famous product is the buko pie which is made from coconut. Normally there's a long queue of customers but he got there quite early thus was able to browse around before all the rest of the customers arrived. Other yummy foodstuff include garlic butter sticks, peanut brittle, cashewnut brittle and different types of bottled local spicy vegetable dishes.
