#1 Hiking in Yosemite National Park

Reading @spc's post about the Yosemite National Park in USA makes me so want to go there immediately. He went there for a two day hike recently with his partner. Their hike started mid way up the moutain by a pond, so stunning like the ones you normally only see in travel magazines. Gradually they ascended up the mountain, passing through some lovely landscpe, till they reach the end of the mountain trail and reach a lake recommended by the park ranger.

#2 BILBAO - The Basque Country's amazing Capital [EN/DE]

Our second featured post today is from @travelshots. He went to Bilbao in north east Spain recently, let's follow him around town. First up is Bilbao's most famous landmark the Guggenheim Museum, its modern exterior is a stunning piece of architecture. By contrast, the cobblestone streets old town has its own character and gets busy with locals and tourists alike, particularly in the evenings when the bars open. You can also catch a ride on the 100-year-old rack railway which takes you to the viewpoint Mirador of Monte Artxanda where you get a fantastic view of the city. What a great way to round off the day tour.

#3 The Cannons of Historic Blakeley State Park

Our last featured post by @derangedvisions is quite short, but I like this as it not only tells us about the Civil War in USA, but also offers a contrast between yesteryear and today. @derangedvision is at the Blakeley State Park home to Alabama's largest Civil War battle in 1865. Today, many come here pleasure walks, horse riding and cycling but a 150 years ago the mood was very different. Let's not forget our past.
