Travel Digest

#1 Looking to relocate to another country? Consider Bulgaria!

@best-trip-eva is telling us why she thinks Bulgaria is an amazing country to relocate to, if you're up for that! From the stunning natural wonders, ranging from mountain tops to the seaside and everything in between (hot springs, waterfalls, lakes, forests, caves, you name it), to the great food and historical old towns. But if you do enjoy some good nightlife with a more modern vibe, the capital of Sofia will be your place to be! Currently, Bulgaria remains one of the cheapest countries in the European Union, which if you're relocating is as important as anything! I am definitely tempted already!

#2 Hidden Gem In Lisbon: The Amoreiras Cistern, Reservatório da Mãe d’Água

@for91days takes us to a little hidden Cistern in Lisbon, Portugal. Whilst it was absolutely not the intention to visit it due to the viewpoint they wanted to go to being closed at the time they arrived, and the rain starting to pour down, they find it the closest thing to do! A tad disappointed at the fact they aren't able to enjoy the incredible view, they set out into this tucked away Cistern. And what an amazing place it ends up being, with the old architecture it feels as if you're walking a couple centuries back in time.

#3 St. Constantine and St. Helena church in Plovdiv

@joythewanderer takes us back to Bulgaria for our last featured post of today. She's visiting one of the oldest churches in Plovdiv there. With the church's spire towering out over the town, it's pretty easy to find. The church holds several artworks painted by the famous Bulgarian National Revival painter Zahari Zograf.

Yeah right! It's quite funny for me as it's not that far from home for me, yet I've never been, hmmm!
