#1 Hallstatt, Austria
First, @matkodurko takes us to Hallstatt, in the Austrian Alps. Home to just 859 inhabitants, this UNESCO listed town has three times as many tourists as residents, who arrive each day to explore and photograph it. In fact, the Chinese liked Hallstatt so much they built a replica of it in China. The town is also home to the world's oldest salt mine— complete with a 70m long slide—allowing you to reach speeds up to 38.5km/h.

#2 Mars-like canyons, Lithuania
Next, @ctdots takes us to some Mars-like canyons around Naujoji Akmenė, Lithuania. These abandoned limestone pits are left over from the Soviet era. Large mining machines still dominate the view, looking like they were used just yesterday. However, nature is slowly taking over. Big spaces are covered by unnatural swamps filled with various flora and fauna, forming their own micro-systems. Although man-made, it is a worth visiting since it's easy to imagine you are somewhere else.

#3 Flores, Guatemala
Finally, @lizanomadsoul takes us to the floating colonial city Flores at Lake Petén Itza in Guatemala. The old part of the city is located on an island on Lake Peten Itza, connected to the mainland by a short causeway. Flores was the last independent Mayan state that held off Spanish conquerors, making it the second oldest continuously inhabited settlement in the Americas. Today this picturesque city is full of restaurants, hostels, yoga places and spas—perfect for relaxation.
