image

In afara celor 2 sali mai putem vizita chiar in fata muzeului o impresionanta colectie de artilerie navala si antiaeriana, vase si alte obiecte marinaresti, care in momentul de fata sunt cam dezafectate, după cum veți observa și din pozele ce le-am făcut.

image

Toate exponatele acestui muzeu scot in evidenta activitatile Portului Militar din Mangalia, din perioada 1952-2000.

image

image

La intrarea in muzeu este o parcare, care deși nu este marcată are destul loc pentru câteva mașini:)

image

image
După cum veți vedea nu este nici o problema sa atingem sau chiar sa ne urcam in exponatele expuse afara, de aici cred ca vine și starea in care acestea se afla in momentul de fata.

image
Copiii sunt cei mai entuziasmați de acest muzeu deoarece le permite intrarea in lumea lor, urcând in exponatele expuse in fata aceștia devin căpitani, militari sau ce își doresc ei...:)

The Romanian Navy Museum in Mangalia has a beautiful collection of military navy models, and civilian ships from the Romanian fleet.

image

The opening of the museum was on August 3, 1969, in the former naval school, where a few years later, in 2004, after a redevelopment of the decommissioned building of the barracks, this museum was reopened, containing 2 halls where we can visit an impressive collection of techniques military and a library, patrimony items that present the recent history of the Navy.

Besides the 2 halls, we can visit also the front of the museum, and there we meet an impressive collection of naval and antiaircraft artillery, vessels and other marine items, which are currently quite decommissioned, as you will see from the pictures I have made.

image

All the exhibits of this museum highlight the activities of the Military Port in Mangalia from 1952-2000.

image

The museum is located at the exit of the city towards Vama Veche, on the E 87 road, right near the Bridge over Lake Mangalia, where we can also see some impressive vessels.

image

The museum's opening hours are from Monday to Friday from 9: 00-18: 00 where at the price of only 5 lei the equivalent of 1.08 € we can visit the inside of the museum, the outside is open to any passerby.

image

At the entrance to the museum there is a parking lot, which though is not marked has enough place for more cars :)

image

I caught a nice day with more visitors, so I chose to leave the inside visit for later, but still visit his yard.

image
As you will see, there is no problem touching or even climbing in exposed exhibits from outside, and I think this is really the reason, for there appearance at the moment.

image
Children are the most enthusiastic about this museum because it allows them to enter in their world, climbing into exhibits exposed in front they can become captains, military or what they
