#1 My Balkan-Roadtrip 2018: Arrival in SKOPJE

Where would you find a city that looks like a crazy mixture of Rome, Athens, Paris and London? Try Skopje in Macedonia. This is @travelshots next stop as he continues with his Balkan roadtrip. After checking into his super comfy hotel for Euro25 per night, he starts to explore the city. A lot of buildings have been built in recent years giving it a mixed odd look but it seems the locals would have preferred the money to be spent on better infrastructure instead. The oriental old town has a very different atmosphere, old cobblestone streets, traditional restaurants and a mosque. Either way, this is a great place for photographers so checkout his photos in the post.

#2 WHY WE FELL IN LOVE WITH CUSCO - THE OLD CAPITAL OF THE INCA !

Sexywoman, I mean Sacsayhuamán near Cusco in Peru is our next featured post from @planetus. This is a stunning citadel believed to be built around 900 - 1200 AD and is located 3500 ASL. With the puma being one of the creatures worshipped by the Inca, legend has it that the city of Cusco started here, as the site represents a puma's head while other parts of Cusco represents the rest of the puma's body. No one knows if this is true or not, and neither do we know how the Inca manage to build the site with massive stones that fit together perfectly. These stones were designed to prevent earthquakes, as the Peruvians found out in the 1950's. 90% of Cusco was destroyed in the earthquake, with the remaining 10% pretty much all located at Sacsayhuamán. To top off the trip, @planetus saw the most complete and longest rainbow they've seen so far.

#3 Caliwood - a museum of cinematography in Cali, Colombia

We probably don't normally associate cinematography with Colombia, so it was really interesting to read @nameless-berk post on Caliwood, Colombia's own cinematography museum. Here you can find out how a film is made before it arrives on the big screen, a great range of recording equipment, more than a hundred photographic cameras (including the largest and the smallest in the world), and a lot of vintage posters. During the tour, you also get to see old school black and white films dating back to the 1930s and 1940s, and are given a 24 frame of film which equates to 1 second when you watch it as a gift to take home with you.

Wow, didn't expect that. Thanks, guys!

It was a very interesting post as we don't (at least I don't) normally associate Colombia with film

Thanks for mentioning!😘

You guys are enjoying ur hearts out. I'm living in a part of world famously known as paradise on earth that is Kashmir(india). But here the circumstances are so severe and worse that it becomes almost impossible to come out of our homes very often due to persistent curfews, army over indulgence and political interventions. Feels pathetic to live here.

Can understand your plight bro. But what to do...It is really paradise of earth as it mentioned. I want to come again to see the places as there are so many places that couldnt be completed with week of travel that happened to be few years back when the issues were literally nil...

Lets hope for the best....

Thanks a lot for featuring my post, so nice to have your support! 🙂
