Finding Beethoven in Bonn 在波恩寻找贝多芬
Once the capital of Federal Republic of Germany, Bonn is still one of the political centers in Germany. The city does not look very political though.
To many people, Bonn is where Beethoven born and raised. People in Bonn is proud of Beethoven. You can easily find Beethoven in every corner of the city.
波恩曾经是西德的首都，至今还是很重要的政治中心。但是这座城市的政治色彩却并不很浓厚，反而很文艺。
对很多人来说，波恩更多的是孕育了贝多芬的城市。当地人也很引以为豪，因此在城里“偶遇”贝多芬并不困难。
This is the Beethoven Haus (Beethoven House), where Beethoven stayed for 22 years before he left to Vienna. His manuscripts, music instructments he played and the descriptions of all the items will lead you through the life of this music giant. There's also his death mask. I can see that he was painful when he passed away. That made me feel sad.
贝多芬故居是一栋粉色的三层小楼。他出生于此成长于此，22岁离家去了维也纳。如今故居改造成了博物馆，记录着这位音乐巨匠的成长历程。这里存放着贝多芬的手稿、用过的乐器、还有他逝世后用石膏做的死亡面具。可以看出逝世时的表情还是比较痛苦的——真的见到一个人死去的表情对我来说很震撼。

There're many attractions in Bonn besides the Beethoven Haus. My colleagues once joked that the three major landmarks in one European city are cathedral, plaza/square, and city hall.
It's the same case in Bonn. You can find Beethoven's statue on the master square (upper right corner of the first photo). Photo of the city hall is attached below. It is a baroque-style building in pink with golden and white decorations.
除了贝多芬故居，波恩还有不少可逛的地方。我们同事间流传着一个说法，去一个欧洲城市，三大件无非是教堂广场市政厅。
波恩也不例外。主广场矗立着贝多芬的塑像（第一张照片的右上角）。老市政厅是一栋粉色的巴洛克风建筑，点缀着金色和白色的浮雕，在德国算是风格很轻盈的建筑了。

The Koblenzer Tor (Coblencian Gate) in Bonn is also in baroque style. This gate leads to the road to Koblenz.
科布伦茨拱门也是波恩市内一处有名的巴洛克式建筑，如名字所说通向另一处名胜科布伦茨。
You can also walk along the Alter Zoll (Old Customs) on sunny days and overlook the Rhine.
天气好的时候，也可以去Alter Zoll (Old Customs)走走，眺望下莱茵河。
