The First Impression of Paris, My Europe Memories 2.1 初探巴黎——欧洲记忆之二（上）

The first visit to Paris was a disaster to me. Nothing bad happened to me but the schedule was just too busy. I can still recall the pain of my legs and feet after walking in the city for two days.

Never try to visit as many attractions as possible. Relax and slow down.

现在想起初访巴黎的经历还觉得是场噩梦。并没有发生什么不好的事，只是旅游的思路不对。我至今还记得暴走两天那腿脚的酸爽。
像巴黎这样的地方，正确的打开方式永远不是掐着表看到所有的景点。你要慢慢走慢慢品味，看不完没关系，总有机会再去的。

With great longing for Paris, 10 young engineers who were in Europe for the first time started driving to Paris from Germany on one Friday Evening. Soon they would be impressed by the long-standing history and profound culture, both mentally and physically.

带着对巴黎的憧憬，十个第一次造访欧洲的年轻工程师在周五下班后从德国的小镇出发了。很快他们将在精神上以及身体上被巴黎历史之悠久文化之深厚所震慑。

Stop 1 - The Louvre 第一站 － 卢浮宫

It felt like a dream when I finally stood in front of the Louvre. However, the long line waiting to enter the museum soon brought me back to reality. I guess it’s always like that on weekends/ holidays but it moved fast.

真正站在久闻大名的玻璃金字塔前的时候，我感觉还像在做梦。但等待游览卢浮宫的长龙很快把我带回了现实，因为是周末所以没办法人很多，但移动得还是比较快的。

The sad thing was we didn’t have much time for the museum because of our full schedule. Here came the question. How to schedule your time if you only got half day for the Louvre?

Well, my answer is, better not. It takes at least a full day to take a brief look of everything.

But if you have to, you should first find out the fastest route between the three famous women - Nike of Samothrace, Mona Lisa and the Venus. Then spent the rest of your time in the Denon wing.

因为行程太满，所以我们只有半天给卢浮宫。那么问题来了，只有半小时应该怎么逛卢浮宫呢？

我的建议是，半天那就算了吧。即使是走马观花，最少也要一整天才能看完。半天掐掉排队真的也不剩多少了。

如果硬要这么做的话，那就先找到最快的路径去访问那三个著名的女人——胜利女神、蒙娜丽莎和维纳斯。然后接下来的时间就在德农馆看多少算多少吧。

Stop 2 - the Triumphal Arch 第二站——凯旋门

Walking all the way down the ave of Champs Elysee, you'll approach the Triumphal Arch. It is the center of a roundabout with 12 exits. I heard that it cost one of my colleague an hour to exit this roundabout. I doubt the truth of it. But the traffic in Paris was bad.

Well let's go back to the Triumphal Arch.

While the best spot for photo may be on the avenue, I'll highly recommend you climb the 283 stairs to the top of the arch because it provides an amazing overlook of the city.

沿着香榭丽舍大道一路走，就慢慢到了凯旋门脚下了。凯旋门是一个有着12个出口的环岛的终点，据说曾经有个同事在环岛转了快一个小时也没出去。不知真假，但巴黎交通的确挺糟糕的。

扯远了，虽说凯旋门最好的拍摄点或许在香榭丽舍大道上，我强烈建议登顶凯旋门。虽然要爬283级台阶，但顶上的无敌俯瞰效果绝对值得走这一趟。
