Real Life Captured #71: Carnival Parade in Guayaquil Ecuador! Part Two (15 photos)
Hey there my Steemit friends. Carnival may now be over but we can still celebrate it while viewing this post. I really enjoyed documenting the parade here in Guayaquil. The whole carnival Latino culture I find exciting.
For a guy, girls half naked dancing in the rain as they march down the street. What's not to love about that lol! Everyone was in a festive mood especially this drunk guy in the ninth photo down who decided that it would be cool if he ran out into the parade and led the dancers down the street for a while.
I could see that the dancers were not happy about it. Frankly the ones in the front had a look of fear on their face for a moment, but nobody was going to do anything about it here in Ecuador. Lucky for him this wasn't New York City's New Year's Day Parade or he probably would have gotten tackled to the ground by the police before he made it off the sidewalk.
Great example how life is different here and how it moves at a different pace. Beside that short story; the music, the colors, the costumes, the floats, it was all spectacular and I really had a great time even in the rain. Now come along and let's have a look at this Carnival Parade in Guayaquil Ecuador.
