Continuation, the beginning here and there...

In the continuation of the walk around Yaroslavl, we headed to the bus stop to reach the Yaroslavl Zoo. And why did not we take a taxi? We took more than an hour to get there by bus. If you have only a day left to explore the city, I do not advise you to repeat our mistake.

In the zoo was cold enough - this is Russian winter!.

Deer walk up and the hope of getting something tasty.

Lions, heat-loving animals, sit close to each other and do not want to go out.

And Przewalski's horse, seems, to feel quite comfortable.

But the flamingos were frozen, even despite the fact that they are in a heated room. Maybe heating is not enough, or it's because they are separated from the street by only a thin glass. They trembled, poor thing...

And next to the zoo is the Zoekzatararium. It was built just a few years ago and is intended for exotic animals and birds from warm countries.

Here is this parrot, as it was written on the ad near his cage, can talk. But no matter how hard we tried, we never managed to persuade him to say a word.

There is also a terrarium with various species of lizards and geckos.

Monkeys are also represented by several species.

And there is a cute family of meerkats.

We had lunch in the dining room, located also at the zoo. The choice is small, not very good, but there's nothing to choose from. And after - on the bus and back to the hotel. But on the way, we still drove into the planetarium for an evening session.
