Museums of the Yaroslavl Kremlin

So, the next day after a walk around Moscow, early in the morning, the train took us to Yaroslavl. Why did we choose this city? Just because we have never been there, and the city is old and well-known, so it's worth visiting! Especially, from Moscow Yaroslavl is not very far away and tickets to train, as far as I remember, cost us 800 and 1000 rubles for the upper and lower regiments, respectively. That is not so much...

Arrived in the middle of the day, we settled in a hotel. But on this day there was not much going anywhere, just got into the city to wander around the shops, and buy food. But the next day early in the morning we went to explore the city!

Yaroslavl is an ancient city. The first mention of it was found in the annals dated 1071 year. And the most ancient part of it, of course, Yaroslavl Kremlin. There we went first.

In the photo below you can see a part of his wall.

There are several museums on the territory of the Kremlin. At the entrance you can buy a single ticket (worth 500 rubles), or buy tickets to each museum separately.
Most of all I liked the museum of ancient icons of Yaroslavl. Most of the icons presented here are several hundred years old.

I do not want to tire you, so I'll show you only a few icons.

The next museum was located in another building and occupied several rooms on two floors. In it were presented exhibits from the life of Yaroslavl in various historical epochs. For example, there was a hall dedicated to the fair of the 18-19th centuries.

Once upon a time these sledges were ridden by noble people.

Immediately we see a set of samovars of different size and manufacturing time.

Keys

Forged chests and plates.

Wooden figures.

And even a whole brougham!
