Two Nights at the Novotel Phuket Resort Hotel

The Novotel Phuket Resort Hotel is the third hotel we are staying on our trip to Phuket Island. It is located at one end of Patong beach on a small hill, which gives guests an awesome view of the sea.

Two Nights at the Novotel Phuket Resort Hotel

This is a great hotel on top of a hill with the beach at a 5-minute walk. They have 3 swimming-pools on different levels, a Kids Club, a Fitness room, tennis courts and some rooms have access to another swimming-pool from an individual terrace.

The Novotel Phuket Resort Hotel

This is the third hotel of the four we are going to visit during our 7-day vacation in Phuket. It is a 4-star hotel and this is what you see next to the entrance.

Let's see some photos now.

The Lobby

This is the entrance of the lobby, which is in a Thai traditional style house.

A lot of areas to sit down and I believe that they have the best view on Patong beach.

There is the first level of the swimming-pool down the lobby.

Our Family Room

We had a family room, which has a bed for children and access to a swimming-pool.

Behind the window is the bathroom.

Children bed.

A small office area, mini-bar and cabinet with safe.

Flat TV with lots of channels, Discovery and National Geographic is what I like to watch.

The bathroom

A bathroom with sink, toilet and shower, but no bath.

Terrace & Swimming-pool

We had this terrace with direct access to the swimming-pool which was great.

We enjoyed swimming the two days we were there.

Some goodies we had in the room as a welcome.

Outside

If you play tennis, you will appreciate the tennis court that you can access for free.

The swimming-pool

They have a beautiful swimming-pool on three levels.

The Kids Club

The Kids Club is up the stairs and they organize a few activities for children.

Breakfast at the restaurant.

Breakfast is free for children and less expensive than the other 4-star hotels we have visited.

I also tried different juices, muesli with fruits and a danish with coffee.

The Fitness room

After my 2-kilometer walk at the beach this morning, I was alone at 7:00 a.m. in the Fitness room for 40 minutes.

If you want to do some Thai boxing, it's possible too!

This was my beach walk this morning at 6:30 a.m.

Much less people than during the day, which is great.

Patong Beach

This is Patong beach and it is very crowded with a lot of people, jet skis and other beach activities.

Market

There is also a street market next to the beach and it seems like the Indians of America have taken over.

We had dinner at the hotel and it was a buffet beautifully arranged and everything was excellent.
