📌Castle in the middle of the desert 🇸🇦
Among the dozens of ruins on the Madalin Salih archaeological site in Saudi Arabia, one is especially distinguished. Carved into a massive stone there is a "lonely castle", Kazr al-Farid, an ancient tomb that, in beauty, can fit shoulder to shoulder with many old buildings. This tomb began to be built in the first century, but its facade is not finished. Although many people call this building a castle, it was actually a tomb, built during the Nabatean Empire. The builders had unique construction techniques - their tombs were carved into a piece of huge stone by tipping from top to bottom. So it was in the case of Kazr al-Farid, but he is not carved to the end. That's why he has become a perfect instrument for today's researchers to discover the construction process. What, because of its beauty, because of archaeological importance, the "lonely castle" is called miracle among researchers. What do you think?
