Hello fellow Steemians!
Welcome to my 7 World’s Continents Photo Challenge - Australian Monday - where the winner of the weekly round will be able to participate for the total of 200 SBD! Today, you can participate by submitting your personal pictures from your travels to the continent of Australia. I am also adding New Zealand to the same challenge as there were some concerns from other Steemians as to which continent NZ belongs to.

Your entries need to be submitted by 8 AM Central European Time in order to be considered for the challenge with a description of approximately 30 to 50 words. Only use of personal images will be accepted and only one picture can be submitted for a daily photo challenge. Ten winning photos will receive a bigger upvote from me and ten runners-up will get a smaller one.
Chosen from the ten winning entries, the absolute winner of the day will receive extended publicity in my post tomorrow morning. I will also visit his/her blog to upvote one of the most recent posts. The winning picture of the daily challenge will then automatically enter other rounds with the absolute winner gaining approximately 200 SBD in total.

The Marina Bay Sands Hotel is one of Singapores landmarks. Unfortunately it's allowed only for hotel guests to relax at the infinity pool on the top. Nevertheless it's possible for everyone to buy a ticket for the "Skypark" that is located right next to the pool. So you can enjoy the same breathtaking view of Singapores skyline from there!

Everyone who comes down to the south of Australia shouldn't miss this awesome part of the country, great sea side scenery with lots of picturesque places. Quite a while I was there, really hope I can go there again

Sydney is such a busy city, that even in the late evenings the roads would still be full of cars. This picture was taken on a pedestrian bridge above the Warringah Freeway, one of the busiest highways linking the CBD with North Sydney through the Sydney Harbour Bridge and the Harbour Tunnel. You can see the harbour bridge and the CBD skyline in the distance, whereas the skyscrapers close-by is North Sydney, the commercial centre north of the CBD across the Sydney Harbour.

New Zealand has stunning nature in every corner of the country. This pebble beach on the South Island made for some amazing photos as the mist was coming in during golden hour.

Dinosauer Eggs at Moeraki beach.. Or mayby just uniquely formed rocks?? In any case it's a extraordinary location with all those round boulders littering the sand. The morning I visited I was even lucky with the light and got those beautiful pastle colors.

This is a panoramic view of Perth from the botanic garden. Hanging out in the street during the night to capture my favorite Australian city shining of thousand lights. Here you can see the CBD which is right next to the Swan River.
Location: Perth, Australia.
Incredible cityscape! Had no idea Perth was such a big city.
Compare to Sydney or Melbourne, the city isn't that big but the suburb is huge!

Hi mate, Steemit can be a bit of a mystery sometimes! I've figured out how to able full screen view only a month or two ago myself. The trick is very simple, you have to use markdown code.
Write the following lines and replace the "your image address" and "your bottom text" by the actual image address and text.

Took this photo at the wharf near Clarke Park in Sydney, Australia. This spot is not too "well known" for tourists but it is well liked with stunning views of Sydney Harbour for locals. If the weather is sunny like the day we visited, you can get really great photos of the Harbour Bridge and Luna Park. Depending where you are standing, you can also see the Opera House.

Freycinet National Park in Tasmania, a peninsula full of dramatic pink granite peaks, secluded bays, white sandy beaches and abundant birdlife. This challenging, hiking trail leads up to a pretty high, panoramic view of Wineglass Bay. When you arrive at the beach after a long day of hiking, you can make camp and enjoy the Tassie wilderness.

National Library, Canberra. This photo was taken from the Regatta Point Foreshore, across Central Basin of Lake Burley Griffin. The rainbow is from the Captain Cook Waterspout, which I was lucky enough to be there for just the few minutes the sun was on the right angle.

Commercial photographers are all well and good, but when you get the amateurs involved, the world starts to open up and there is so much more out there.

This is the small coastal town of Brunswick Heads along the NSW coastline of Australia. We stopped in here on our way home one evening, we had never been before. The sunset that afternoon was magical, as the sun was going down behind the mountains everything was lit with a bright golden glow. If this is the show they receive each afternoon I can see why it is busy for a small coastal town!
Haven't been to Brunswick Heads in years. The fishing there is amazing. I will have to get back up that way sometime.
Yes we saw that... my daughter loves fishing and we were out along the rock wall talking with a few of the guys. One of the blokes showed us some of the fish he has caught off there and they were HUGE!!! Which thrilled my daughter who now wants to go back! : )
It is a lovely area. All the way from Coffs through to Tweed.

Have you seen the Jacarandas in Grafton in Spring? Simply stunning!
No not in Grafton... we have a Jacaranda Festival up here in Ipswich each year... and we travel to Toowoomba and Tenterfield in the Spring... not to Grafton though I don't think. We like Grafton though, we just had 10 days away camping out near that way. Grafton was our closest Town. : )

Spectacular Uluru, sacred mountain of the aborigines.
The sunrise is breathtaking but you have to get up very early (about 4:00 am) to catch it! It was hard to get a good place to stand to make a perfect shot of this natural miracle!
I just love those colors!
