Test the Balohan bay with foreign freediving
The last week I was in Sabang in the context of international freediving event coverage. This activity was held from 2 to 8 November 2018, and was attended by 23 countries - both from Asia, Europe, America, Australia and Africa.
I got a lot of new things from this activity, like the greatness of humans to conquer nature. In fact, humans are creatures born with habitat on land. However, divers can spend up to a few minutes in the sea without using scuba. Wow, this is fantastic for me.
This international freediving is centered in the bay of Balohan. Balohan is a bay used as a domestic entrance from Banda Aceh to Pulau Weh. This area is more popularly called Sabang.
I and my friends of jurnalis spend a lot of time there, while noticing the activities of divers.
This competition was won by Marianna Gillespie from Russia and Jin Wang from China.
The judges of the international freediving competition consisted of Wayne John from New Zealand, John Folkvord from the Philippines, Lily Winda and Bayu Widianto from Indonesia.
