The Dancing Dreamers - SLC Locals HVLON Stole the Show at Bloom 2's ElectroLivin Stage on Day 2

It is typically unheard of for a local artist to pull together such a large crowd at an EDM festival so early in the night, but Salt Lake City's hottest new EDM artists, HVLON, managed to do exactly that only hour and a half after the doors opened for Day 2 of Bloom 2 on Saturday.

There was a slight change of schedule that worked in their favor, as their set was originally supposed to start at 8 PM, but the doors opened later and set times had to be altered a bit to compensate for that. Once word got out that their set would actually be starting at 8:30 instead, HVLON's dedicated fans got to work on spreading the word as far and wide as possible that everyone should be at the ElectroLivin stage by 8:30 to catch their set.

At around 8:15, the crowd at the ElectroLivin stage still seemed pretty sparse, but people began to trickle in by the dozens as 8:30 approached and excitement built up for HVLON's first ever festival appearance. Salt Lake City's hottest new talents took to the stage amid thunderous cheers from the crowd, which had begun to pack into the building where the second stage was set up.

HVLON immediately got the crowd's energy levels up right from the start, and there was no shortage of people headbanging and jumping in the crowd to the heavy beats that they dropped. Truly connecting with the energy and passion of the crowd, it was as if HVLON knew exactly what the crowd wanted to hear next every time.

Because there was never a break in their heavy assault of dubstep beats, the crowd never got a moment to rest. Looking out at the audience, though, it didn't seem like they needed, or even wanted, such a moment of rest. It was as if the crowd was a pack of ravenous wolves craving nothing more than the juicy fresh meat that only HVLON's sound could provide.

About halfway into HVLON's set, the crowd had grown to a size of roughly 300 people, which, again, is typically unheard of so early in the night. As more people joined the audience, the energy levels shot through the roof!

This sudden spike in energy manifested itself strongest at the front rail, where HVLON's fans would have literally broken the entire rail all the way across with how aggressively their rage had come out. The rail was only spared that gruesome fate when security leapt into action and attempted to quell some of the craziness.

At some point in their set, one of the members of HVLON even jumped down into the crowd and started a mosh pit, which the audience was all too eager to participate in! The crowd dispersed a little bit to make room for the moshing, but it was clear that everyone was still at peak energy levels, and everywhere one looked, people were still going hard with no signs of stopping.

Of course, a HVLON set would not be complete without them dropping their latest track, "Bring The Ruckus," so fans were treated to the heavy-hitting fat bass lines of this banger that is sure to find a home in the hearts of fans for years to come. Sure enough, the audience lost it as soon as they realized that "Bring The Ruckus" had been dropped. If anyone in the crowd had begun to feel tired, it was clear that this track brought not only the ruckus, but the energy levels back to those who needed replenishing. Give it a listen below!

When HVLON's set finally came to a close, the crowd once again erupted into a sea of booming cheers and applause as a pure expression of gratitude for providing them with such an amazing experience. Unfortunately for the artist who came on after them, the crowd began to disperse after HVLON left the stage.

HVLON truly stole the show at Bloom 2's ElectroLivin stage that night, drawing a crowd of nearly 300 raging headbangers to their set only an hour and a half after the doors opened, and taking those fans with them once they left the stage. It is truly inspiring to see such an amazing turnout for such a relatively new name in the Salt Lake City EDM community.

You're going to want to keep an eye out for these guys, because they are without a doubt SLC's hottest new talents and 2018 will see a true explosion in their career.
