Power Supply Unit Holder (3D Printer Part 12)
Hi ! It is time to attach the Power Supply Unit to the chassis.
Design
It is a very straightforward design made of 2 parts attached to the PSU.
The PSU is made of a rigid stainless steel, it is a box that acts as a stressed member: it allows to minimize the time/filament used to print those parts.
The PSU already have a few M4 tapped holes on both the side and on the back: they can be used directly, simplifying the design to the bare minimum.
There are 2 M5 screws for each part that holds it to the chassis.
You just need to be careful with caliber measurements, have enough margin for the assembly.
Printing
Nothing special here, no support are needed, it is very straightforward. You just need to have enough infill. It took around 4 hours on each part: slow speed and 30% infill.
Assembly Notes
Nothing special, just be sure to have the good length for M4 screws that are different: be careful to not have too long ones (as me :p).
Forthcoming Part
Z-End Stops, Cable things and final assembly !
