Standing tall in Battery Park City
Standing tall in Battery Park City
For this post, I thought I would share a couple of the cool features in Battery Park city
A few things to see in this shot, the old style lampost on the left, the cool mesh style feature Standing tall.
And in the background you can see the Colgate Building in Jersey City, well I think it is called the Colgate building, it is right beside the Colgate clock, which you can faintly see to the left of the lampost very small in the distance.

And another cool feature standing tall, the woman running by gives you a sense of how tall it is, and I know its small but in the background you can see the Statue of Liberty.

A funny little side note with this post, I noticed a mark on the first photo from a spot on my lens, as I was preparing this post, so I went back and redited the photo and cleaned off the spot , but then I found another one that no matter what i did I just couldnt get the spot to go, dang did I feel a fool when I finally realised the second spt was on my monitor and not on the phot itself
Unless stated otherwise all photos used in my posts are taken and owned by myself, if you wish to use any of my images please contact me.

@arosebunch and thanks for your visit
Great views from Battery Park @tattoodjay Funny story about the spot on your monitor. I work mostly on an old Mac sometimes I look at a post on my wife's newer Mac and the photos look TOTALLY different lol
Ohh yeah the technologies of monitors and computers have really come along, Looking at my photos on my PC at work is so much worse than looking at them on my home PC
These are such cool perspectives @tatoodjay! Beautiful sky and water. Its amazing how small the Statue of Liberty looks. Great pictures today!
Thanks, the views from the walk by battery park city are so cool
I can't believe the old Colgate clock is still there in Jersey City.
I used to go to the waterfront there as a kid whenever I wanted some quiet time.

@tonygreene113 Ohh yeah its still there its a landmark and I hope it will stay
I need to experiment with some of these filters, a blue one for these right? Using an iPhone doesn't give you much choices, but there's editors you can use to give better dynamics?
@slobberchops These were taken with my camera, it was early morning and not much light which gave a bit of a blue tinge, but I left it like that as I liked the look
