One of the spots I used to visit a few times a week when I lived in a rental complex when I first moved to Milford was this bridge the Hotchkiss bridge which runs from Helwig Street to Fowler Field and the Library.

Its beautiful all year round in my mind but especially so this time of year with all the flower pots on the bridge.

And this is one of the Flower Pots on the bridge adding some lovely color as you cross the bridge.

From the bridge you can look down to the Landing, at the time I took the photo the docks were no where near full but on weekends every spot will be full.

And finishing off with another shot of the bridge itself

That is a really pretty bridge. I love it when a city takes care of their bridges and even add special touches to them for beauty like the hanging baskets.I can't remember the name of the flowers in the hanging basket but I bought my mom the same flowers but yellow with white stripes for Mothers Day.

@marxrab Sorry I am terrible with flower names s not sure what they are called

I believe its the Oyster Festivla Committee that does the decorating of the bridge and I am glad they do it makes it look so pretty

@marxrab It is so nice that they do that I believe its the oyster Festival Committee that puts these up

sorry I dont know there name either

A lovely selection of photographs @tatoodjay. I like all of them.

I visited Milford once but I don't remember that bridge. 😊

Thanks :)
Its behind the Library by Fowler Field where some events are held

Such a pretty spot! Although I'm sure your photos would make a rubbish dump look good.

@choogirl LOL that remind sme of a theme I took part in on another site the Art of Trash, Hmm maybe I should start that here lOL

It looks like such a nice place! Nice job with the flowers..
