Fresh Garden - The place for refreshing
In this bustling city, where is your own garden?
Location
Fresh Garden Brand with bakery chain across the big cities may not be strange to cream cake lovers. But this is the first time I visit a coffee shop of this brand, and especially a cafe which is very "Garden".
The coffee shop located right in Nguyen Khanh Toan street, next to Vietnam Museum of Ethnology, and around 100m from Nghia Do park. I went through this place every single day, but never stopped by, simply because the green fence outside almost obscured all the view of garden inside. Until one day I was really curious what behind this fence is, then I came in and feel like I had just discovered a secret garden.
The space is truly a "Fresh Garden" as it's name.
The coffee shop is divided into two parts, indoor and outdoor. If you are like me, also looking for a fresh space, harmony with nature, I think you better choose to stay outside. I take a sit in the corner of the garden and it's really comfortable and pleasant. The sunshine in late afternoon, light wind, roses bloomed in every corners of the garden, ... The space really arouses a lot of inspiration.
If not, takinf a seat inside is also a not bad option. With the dome design and material mainly is bamboo, wood ... you will feel like sitting in a huge bird nest.
With me, the space of "Fresh Garden" is the most prominent and well deserved to be appreciated. The space is really open, spacious but still private, especially outdoor area. Because the garden is quite large, and the seats are arranged quite far apart, so even though there are a lot of people, you still don't feel noisy or crowded, but very comfortable with your own small corner.

There are also many options for drinks such as coffee, tea, juices, milk shakes, yogurt, ... with many different price ranges. In my opinion, the price here is quite expensive, it is even slightly higher than popular coffee chains such as Highland Coffee or Cộng Coffee, .. I choose fresh coconut juice just because I want to drink something cool, and cheap. ^^. My friends choose chocolate milk shake. The total amount for our three drinks is 163k (~$8).
Besides a series of choices of drinks, there are also a lot of cakes and pastries for you. As I said above, Fresh Garden is not only a coffee shop but also a famous bakery chain, you can enjoy drinks while tasting the cakes from Fresh Garden. A clever combination, isn't it?
Quality
I do not order cream cake, so I have nothing to review. However, the quality of "Fresh Garden" cake has been verified by its fame and popularity. You can try without worrying about the quality of the cake. Although I think its price seems quite high.
About the drink, milk chocolate shakes of my friends are very delicious. There are not only chocolate and milk, but also Orieo crumbs, really fragrant but not too sweet.
My coconut juice is a big disappointment. Because I do not think the coconut can be small that much. =)). However, it looks pretty good and professional with the words "Fresh garden" stamped on the top. The problem is that I don't know how to open the coconut to eat the coconut flesh inside - the part that I like most. Paying $2 for a small coconut, but only to drink coconut juice without eating flesh, with me that is too expensive.
Service
Like most of cafes, Fresh Garden is also a self-service one. Because the staff is only responsible of ordering, so I don't have many comments on the service of the restaurant.
Fresh Garden also seems quite attentive. There are a lot of fans placed outside to be used on hot days.
I dont know if it is crowded or not, but I have to wait for drinks for quite a long time. And because of my seat in the corner of the garden, so the staff seem to not "care" me very much. For example, I had been waiting for the whole afternoon for a staff coming to me to ask them to open a coconut then I could eat the flesh but there was no one.
End
Actually, I just like the space, the way of designing and decorating in Fresh Garden. If you want to try something new and different, instead of going to crowded, industrial, and "lack of inspiration" cafes, you can go to the Fresh Garden to refresh yourself and be more creative. Perhaps, you will come up with new and amazing ideas in a corner of a fresh garden with full of sunshine and flavour of flowers like this.
I really think that the Fresh Garden should develop more cafes in open space like this rather than bakeries. Simply because, ... its name "Fresh Garden" totally fits with garden coffee style.
It is too comfortable and great, so I work without thinking about the time. I come here in the afternoon and go back when it start lighting up. Fresh Garden at night is not less romantic and shimmering, isn't it?

Just from reading your review, I know that I would love this place. With the option of outdoor garden seating or indoor "bird's nest" seating, I'd be comfortable sitting there in any weather and any situation.
And the food and drinks sound good too. Although a bit expensive, I'd agree.
