Social Networks earning Crypto Beyond Steemit

in #synereo6 years ago (edited)

After reading a few posts today related to earning crypto from social media platforms besides I decided to look into those platforms. The two that I learned and signed up on is Synereo and Yours. Here is a short summary of each:

Synereo

Note image link is a referral to signing up on Synereo. My understanding is if you use the referral link I earn 1 AMP.

Currently Synereo has a plugin for users to curate video content on popular social media sites such as Youtube, Imgur, and Medium. The crypto AMP is what users use to curate and reward each other for their content.
Wildspark.me or with the use of Chrome Browser with Wildspark plugin is how users can share AMPs, aka they call this "amplify". The more AMPs a video earns the more AMPS will be earned by both the creator and the curator. A video can continuously earn AMPs for as long as there are people who amplify it.

The site has somewhat of a Youtube feel to it. There are categories and different site platforms to choose from and a trending list of the most popular videos. An easy to use site with a variety of content to watch from crypto to sports and lifestyles.

Users can easily adopt to the use of AMPs as the can use their typical social platform through Chrome Browser. The browser when installed with the Wildspark plugin will allow users to share and earn AMPs.

The crypto AMP is currently trading at:

Yours

A social platform for users to share blog posts, videos, and pictures. The content varies but it must always fall under one of the following tags: general, crypto, fiction, art, music, science, funny, photo, meta.

Yours.org is using bitcoin cash as its rewards for users. Each upvote is a $ amount equivalent of BCH.

Summary

What better way to not complain about Steemit is to get on Synereo and Yours. Not to say they both are bad platforms but the tools and users on Steemit far exceeds what is offered in the other two. Maybe I used Steemit the most therefore have a bias view but here are some other points to know.

Both Synereo and Yours automatically start you off with zero crypto. No way to earn by curating first. One must either deposit or make a post that is able to earn crypto in order to progress on the platform. While on Steemit once a member you have some sort of Steem power to allow you to earn even though it is a small amount Steem power at least it gives users a starting point higher than zero!

Synereo is limited to video content. In the future it maybe able to curate blog posts. Then there is Yours that has blog posts earning upvotes. Steemit is a happy medium as it does all of what each of the other platform allows users to do.

It was good to try out some other social media platforms besides Steemit. That way I have learned how good we steemians have it on here.

Thanks for reading.

You should also check out Minds.com. I was on there before I came here.

Really great social media system, very very busy, nearly all articles get dozens of comments. I just loved how it's all set up.

The reason I'm mentioning it, they were talking about having an ICO and distributing it to users based on their points. I did really well on there, hundreds of times better than on here.

The reason I left, it's a toxic right wing shithole. I have some pretty out there views and align center right, but every second post is Nazi shit and conspiracy theories, it just got a bit much seeing swastikas and kill the jews on every post.

Also, the highest earning users are the ones that just spam stolen comment from YouTube and Trump memes, and the people that made good original content got stiffed basically.

Anyway, they were moving to a crypto economy so if you're interested in just earning then it's another site to go to.

Must look into this. Sounds interesting. Thanks!

Going to follow you. While I only post abiut games, I am very interested in other sources of crypto income, especially passive.
Cheers
