Welcome to #SublimeSunday a tag presenting you with the unique opportunity to post something a bit different, wacky, crazy or just whatever takes your fancy and instigated by me @c0ff33a ☕️
First up though is a #beautifulsunday (hosted by @ace108) photo with a #funkyedit (hosted by @krazypoet) with Saturation to the Max.
So after experiencing freezing rain yesterday, today it turned out quite pleasant - dry and even a little sunshine earlier on. No swimming today, so I had chance to talk a walk in the park.
And first, a middle of the road on the way to the park. This little back road is not too busy, so no danger here.
A tree from a different angle, nice bark on this one.
For no good reason, this park is full of Holly Bushes - how very festive!
It's a good opportunity to snap a good range of photos, giving the portrait mode another try.
Some mystery white berries, no idea what these are they looked like little tiny marshmallows!
And some more traditional red berries.
Different leaves on this berry bush.
I just liked the look of this very spiky bush.
Even more Holly bushes, I'm starting to think they wanted to keep people inside this park!
While I was busy taking these photos, an old lady and her grandson come along walking their dog. I hear from a distance something about photos, and as they get closer she says "My grandson wants to know why you are taking photos of the bushes - but is too shy to ask. Are you checking how clear the lens is?" They'd had probably been running the other way if they had seen me crouched in the middle of the road with my phone on the tarmac earlier. Anyway I think my answer of blogging for cryptocurrency on the Steem blockchain completely befuddled the pair, but at least they didn't look like they needed to call for the men in white jackets to take me away....
Another bit of holly, I didn't take any home - it all seemed quite happy just growing away.
The rest of the park, nobody playing football today.
After the park, I put my dad's tree up with him and made Sunday Lunch.
And a #funkyedits of a previous trip out to end another very random day.

The park bushes are the barrier of escape
I think they want people to stick around! Would hate to jog thru that in a speedo... ya double dare me?? 🤣
It’s a park they want you to stay in, nice to look at Holly but you wouldn’t catch me trying to walk through it.

Loved your walk as you studied natures treats in great detail @c0ffa33 and was amused to hear the response you got from that lady and her grandson. We do take risks when out with our camera at times especially when we are caught out focusing on what would appear to be very orindary flowers or trees up close for lengthy periods.
I'm sure people must shake their heads in confusion........and then go and have a look at what was absorbing our attention after weve moved on case they miss out on an somethng very interesting.
Have an awesome Christmas and throw some snow balls for me. (lol) (U & R )

I am so bad with tags as I did a sort of #sublimesunday post on Sunday and then forgot about that tag @c0ff33a oh well. It looks like you had a sublime one anyway.
I always forget to go on the brits discord channel. Actually I've only been on discord once since getting to the UK in October, as I've just been so busy getting a house setting up a house learning my area etc. But, the schedule will come. That might be a good action for a #sublimesunday after all. What is a good time that people tend to be on discord did you notice? When I am in the USA I always seem to be on when other UK EU people aren't with the 5 hour difference and now I'm in the right time zone and I haven't been going on, c'est la vie, I suppose. :)
Thank you very much, my weekends have been as busy as my working weeks lately so getting anything done on here is a struggle. The Brits Discord isn’t really doing anything, the person who started went awol not long after and I don’t have the time to do anything with it - in fact I have so many discord’s now it’s impossible to work out which to go into unless I happen to get mentioned- and then it’s like hide and seek finding the one I was mentioned in.
So to answer your question I have no answer really, have a hunt through various discord’s until you find something happening. @pennsif is doing a lot of UK based activity and does a great show 8pm Thursday’s in the PAL discord.

I love how the plants are Christmas themed lol but what do they do when its over 🤔... i dont know about year around holly lol.

Here in Florida they do change the plants around town each season. Ive never seen any place take so much time in doing these things lol and wondered if your town did it too 🌺 u should go back after winter and have a look 😉
