I commented here earlier as had someone else and both comments are gone- not just a matter of pressing 'show' due to low ratings- hmmmm what gives?
Anyways 'assualt rifle' is a legitimate term and a distinctive sort of rifle it must have all of the following features-
-be chambered for a rifle round- MP5 for instance chambers a 9mm round but show it to the average person and they'd say that's def an assault rifle when it actually is not.
-have a detachable ammo magazine (not to be confused with a clip)
-have a select fire that allows you to select between semi-auto, three round burst or full auto (must have one of the last two)
The AR-15 does not meet the requirements of an assault rifle as it has no three round burst or full auto select.
Yes, agreed on the rifle distinction thanks for chiming in. As for your other comments they might be on another post, I posted this three times because it was on DLIVE, then on Youtube and the other platforms, then I uploaded it to DTUBE. So three posts of the same content basically.
