Steemlight issue 3.0 - Here Come The Girls
Steemlight, here to shine the light of Steemit onto some undervalued users, curation with a smile! This week we are going to celebrate a few female users that have caught my eye with their wit, charm and intelligence.
So without further ado, let's dive right in!
Heart-To-Heart
We Open this week's Steemlight with the amazing @heart-to-heart, her writing is completely captivating, and in fact, I've just spent god knows how long, reading her incredible series on being in the Dominican Republic.
There are so many reasons why I love this Steemian, like I said her style is uber-cool, and I love her use of gifs, which are constantly cracking me up. There is something I simply can't put my finger on, go and check her out and you'll see what I mean. Her writing is seriously addictive, you will find yourself just clicking on her posts, reading every word, and then looking for more.
Like I said, I'm hooked on her Dominican series, and am pretty gutted that I have to wait for Part 4! So please, pretty please with a cherry on top, write the next chapter @heart-to-heart! Seriously, I'm not even joking!!
As you can see, I have left 2 highlighted posts, this is because when I first researched her, I felt this was her best and funniest post. I still love it so I'm leaving it in, however you simply must read the Dominican series, it'll leave your heart pounding, and your head crying out for more...
Stitchybitch
@stitchybitch is another Steemian that you will spend a lot of time nosing through her posts, she has a great style, and as with Heart-to-heart, uses gifs really well, and they adorn her stories perfectly. I have spent a lot of time reading her posts, and I can tell I'm going to spend a lot more time over there.
I highly recommend spending a good amount of time checking her out, this isn't a quick scan, vote, comment and run blog. This is all about immersing yourself in her life, loves and laughs!
Leslie Starr O'Hara
This Steemian is an accomplished writer, and is right up my street. Her style if funny, quirky, with the odd bit of sci-fi thrown in there. Just like the previous two featured writers, I have spent a lot of time browsing Leslie's blog, which has meant that this issue of Steemlight, has taken about four times longer to produce than it should have!
I don't mind though, because I've been thoroughly entertained, I can't wait to read more of Leslie's stuff, and I hope she sticks to some comedy, sci-fi stuff, because I absolutely love it.
I'm also hoping she does a fake bio for me, hint hint :-D.
MrsLauren
Next up we have @mrslauren who has already shown her creative spirit on Steemit, but also has shown her interests. For instance I loved her post on Swedish Transhumanism
Heretickitten
Last and definitely not least, we have an Icelandic, philospher-Steemian named, @heretickitten. She is definitely a deep thinker and I have already enjoyed some mini debates with her, and love her posts, which make me stop and think.
In fact @heretickitten has a little competition going on; whoever guesses the random number or numbers she is thinking of, gets to have an in-depth conversation with her. Which I think is a fantastic way to engage with Steemians.

@cryptogee, Thanks for the amazing feature! My heart is bursting at its seams with happiness and gratitude over your review of my writing. I haven't even been on Steemit for a month yet, before that I was traveling all over the place, working for drugs dealers, getting blackmailed, half-drowning, rescuing dogs, living in a van, climbing mountaintops... building these stories up with no where to put them! ;) I have always loved story telling and despite being asked several times to write these experiences down, I have always resisted and end up giving myself excuses to avoid it. I have no idea why that is. Maybe it was the fear of putting myself out there, for exposing myself to the world that I had grown so afraid of for some reason. I've written a couple blogs about the fact that as a child, my creativity was discouraged and somewhere along the line, I developed a terrible fear of being seen. Lately, with my change in lifestyle and habits, I have found an inner courage that propels these stories to the surface and demands them to be shared. I'm happy to have them finally find a home inside the hearts and minds of others 💜! I am in full steem ;) I promise there's plenty more where that came from, I'm just getting started and it'll only get better!

Wow, it was my pleasure! As I say, I'm totally hooked on your blog and can't wait for more, I've read Pt 4 now, and it just left me salivating for more.
I'm so glad that Steemit has been the catalyst for your growth in this area, it is something that you've obviously worked on in the past, despite the early discouragement you faced.
I think that's the main thing, that you use Steemit as your growth platform, keep doing what you're doing and you'll just get better and better! If this is you after a month, I think a year of the same effort will look pretty phenomenal :-)
