There are basically two options for parents: They can order a selection or make a pilgrimage with the child through the shoe shops in the city. Especially the first variant is often the simpler one. There are many things to consider when choosing shoes!

Children's feet grow almost as fast as the child, at the age of 3 to 6 years by about one millimeter per month. A regular review should therefore take place every two months. Since suitable shoes are particularly important for the development of still-soft feet, you should value good fit and quality.

Often change your shoes!

Children should definitely own several pairs of shoes. Frequent changes prevent abnormal development. Infections can be difficult to spread in well-ventilated and dry shoes. From the kindergarten age, your child should at least

Because your child will learn to walk when his / her foot is in a comfortable and sturdy shoe, and there is no need for special fits such as those offered by the running shoes.

Do not exaggerate!

Children who are not even able to walk should not wear sturdy shoes to let the foot grow. Even at home, your child should be allowed to walk in socks or barefoot as much as possible. Because in infancy, the foundation for healthy feet is laid, which carry us safely for life.
