The last while of everyone dropping links on the #SteemitCampFire - is getting a bit much. I do not mind the odd one, but this kinda can deflect the purpose here - gathering people in one place and not too much diversion elsewhere.

This has really upset some people but I do not force my opinions on others, or need to communicate every detail of my life or issues, most people do not care anyways. I invested around 10 hours or more a day on Steemit most of my first 13 mths here, I just do not have that time in my life right now, and that includes for replies and voting/curation.

Have a wonderful weekend everyone. I’m going take it very easy. Might just hibernate like a bear over the weekend. Not entirely sure yet.
That or I am going hit up treadmill a few times over the weekend.

We are having yet another newsworthy epic frozen nite here. -30C is like -90 in USA terms LOL.
It is actually causing a lot of pipes to burst underground the last week and such -- power line issues, etc etc.
good heavens man. We just have hard freeze warnings. having to run the pool pumps at night to keep the system from getting messed up. I've not even check the temp as I have no hope for solar power to keep it warm during these months.
Team Canada big gold medal win, just in the door and a post up in the investment language series you MIGHT like or be familiar with.
I am not one of the Canadians to complain about the weather in any season really, it just is life.
But this has really been exceptional in terms of not only the depths of the extreme temps but the length of this is really something now.

Oh I've forgotten so much over the years. Sounds somewhat familiar but then again maybe not lol.
I really need stop being lazy and try and get back into things. Just don't have energy as of late to focus on it.

Some better some worse. I can walk around now without too much issue now. Can’t sit for long amounts of time in my chair so trying standing and getting things done.
Spent most day laying down getting some sleep. No hot water in the house atm or I’d try using that again. I want to try and stretch more but that’s just not happening.
I made some hot chocolate at least.
Was hoping to work on a game review today but that’s just not happening so far. I need sit down for 4 or so hours and get some screenshots from playing.

Living in Canada is cool right now, epic freeze happening, it has been on the news for about 2 weeks, we do not usually get this kind of extended cold!!
I spent a quiet evening in relaxing on the sofa in front of the fireplace. Very cozy real wood-burning, the best place to be because it is 7 degrees outside -10 windchill and we have accumulated over 130" of snow so far. It is not fit for man or beast outside.
We are entering Week 3 of the news breaking temps of this NE / Central Canada where we have been -25/30 every day and nite, and that is celsius, so like -400F LOL
It ie never this prolonged and cold.
Pipes are bursting in the city underground, power is going out and I mean for lots of cities within 1000 kms of me.
I am not sure where you are but I am east of Toronto. It is great for making outdoor ice rinks LOL

I better stop by the campfire before you put it out and go home for the work week, lol! I hope everyone had a great weekend. And stayed warm, if you're in the deep freeze at the start of 2018! It will warm up - eventually! It's not so cold here in Oregon's Willamette Valley. I'm getting ready to make a smoothie from apples I foraged this fall, wild arugula, dandelion leaves, homegrown Japanese persimmons, rosehips, and fennel leaves.
