Today, in this post I want to discuss what we here in steemit call "Vote for Vote" - vote swapping. What is vote for vote or vote swapping? If you just joined the sttemit party recently, you know how hard it is to get the upvotes and income for the minnows. Vote for vote is one of the strategies to get some upvotes and a little bit of steem dollars where you ask a fellow steemian for an upvote for one of your posts, promising him/her that you would upvote one of their posts. If both parties agree then you swap upvotes.
if, for example, your current vote value is $0.003 and you ask me for a vote for vote. If my current vote value is $0.015, I have no reason or incentive to upvote you because your one upvote will give me only $0.003 while one of my upvote will give you $0.015. In such a situation we can negotiate and agree on something equitable. I being with higher vote value and generous may say "look you give me 4 of your upvotes and I will give you 1 of my upvote, you will be still be $0.003 in profit"(4x0.003=0.012/1x0.015=0.015). If you agree to it, then it is a deal.

Minnows(Steemit Newbies) Helping Minnows. Success For All Minnows Support Project.
One of the big problems with the steemit newbies(Minnows) they get started with a lot of enthusiasm after looking at the payout amounts in the posts in trending and hot posts, hoping that they can get at least a fraction of it. But, when they post their posts at the beginning as newbies, lacking the support and following of big account holders, all they get is a few pennies and a few upvotes, if they are lucky. Discouraged and heartbroken they leave the steemit never to come back. Some of them stay a little longer hoping for whales and other big fish to help them. That rarely happens.
What we, minnows, have to do is to take pro-active action, help each other and grow fast. How can we help each other? There are many ways to do it such as upvoting, buying and selling votes from minnows. Sharing ideas and strategies to grow our accounts fast. But in order to do it we have to form small communities and grow together.

Exactly, minnows with STEEM POWER close to zero asks me every time for vote for a vote...and isn't very good deal for me. Sometimes I ask them for upvoting me, comment and following. But it's very often still worthless as their comment is something like: good post bro!
Actually, you are almost the only one who upvoted me for upvote with similar voting weight (My SP is 130), I invested in this platform my money unlike of most minnows.

Thanks for the kind words. Most of the minnows don't understand how the upvoting works in steemit. They use it like they use the "like" function is facebook or twitter. Maximum they can upvote is 12 posts per day and then they have to wait for the voting powrer to return to 100%.
