Translation is done by professional translation company

After reading Steem White Paper I realized how great this idea is. China has many Cryptocurrency lovers. Chinese are coming! So I decided to translate this document into Chinese. But I have a day job, then I paid about 2000 USD letting the top translation company to do this for me.

If this helps you to better understanding Steem, or you feel this is good for developing of Steem community, please upvote for me. Thanks!

Anyone can contribute on Anyone can contribute on Github

Though this translation is made by professional company, anybody should submit suggestions here. https://github.com/asalei/steem-cn . Because they don't know blockchain and the translation may be inaccurate.

Once the official version changes anything, we will update accordingly.

Introduce to myself

I'm Tong ( @somebody ). Please see my introduceyouself post here. Sabydee! Greetings from Laos.

What I Have Done In the Last Week

Actually it's we. We are a group of shareware authors. We participated in a private forum since 2000. Now most of us left the shareware business, but we keep close relationship. Recently, most talked topic is blockchain and Steem.

We have done a lot in the past week:

  • Translated the Steem White Paper into Chinese. It's released on Github .

  • We start to transfer our Bitcoin to Steem. See our wallets. @abit's wallet , @laonie's wallet , @xiaohui , and mine . I even wrote a simple bot to buy Steem on Poloniex. Source code is on Github .

  • A forum on steemchina.com for Chinese to discuss Steem.

  • Many domains were registered, including steemit.cn, steem.cn, steemchina.com, steem.kr, steem,la, steem.sexy, steem.fr, steem.jp, steem.tw, steem123.com, etc.

  • We built a Wechat group and QQ group to discuss our understanding of Steem and ideas to promote Steem to Chinese.

  • Most of posts in Chinese are appeared in last ten days. The 'cn' tag remains top 4 now.

  • Planning to write plugin to integrate Steem into Wordpress. See my post.

  • @laoyao is wriiting a novel in Chinese .

As you know, English isn't our native language, @somebody translated Steemit White Paper to Chinese, this is a great job, it makes steemit become more popular and get more steemer in China, -- don't forget, they are 697 millions of Internet Users in China.

@somebody 本周做了一个更有价值的劳动:他花了很长精力,将 Steemit 的英文技术白皮书翻译成为中文,为 steemit 在中国传播提供了准确、权威的中文技术资料,这将为 steemit 带来更多的中国用户。要知道,在中国,目前拥有 6.97亿的中文网络用户。

Thank @somebody!

@somebody
感謝樓主大公無私分享,辛苦了!不過想詢問文中『start up company』翻成『啟動公司』是否翻譯成『新創公司』會更貼近原文意思?

·

其实大陆都是叫做创业公司。

since this moment, @somebody becomes somebody in Steemit.

·

Really? Actually I want to change this nick name. Because Chinese always abbreviate it as"SB". SB is bad words. I think you know what I mean.

Fantastic! Thanks for your effort! I would like to recommend a related article from myself, about how the steemit users to issue your own cryotocurrency.

Hope this brings more awareness to steemit and people of all different languages can access it and eventually have content translated for everyone

·

This happens soon.

·

Sooner the better, but with the amount of posts, I think it will be hard to scale steemit and still find great content if the system remains as is :)

Thanks for making Steemit this way much easier to use for Chinese people. I had mentioned the Chinese translation of the Steemit Whitepaper in my new article: https://steemit.com/steemit/@capitalism/china-will-make-steem-a-huge-success-like-it-did-with-bitcoin-before-hard-facts

·

Thanks. Reading your post.

Not easy to translate into Chinese. It's very complex process. Google translator is not that good but can get 60% done but sometime make no senses.

·

Google translate is not good at long articles, especially dor Chinese. Most western languages are similar, but English and Chinese are too diferent languages.

Appreciate your hard work.

·

Thanks!

哇!加油!Steemit好好玩唷~ :P

·

欢迎你,台湾来的朋友!

真的太棒了,对于我这种英文不好的是福音。

·

希望对你有帮助

Cool, I downloaded last night,Very good translation, Many Thanks

·

Hope this helps you understand Steem better.
