Good day Steemian and welcome to today's Steem price update for 28/8/2021.
I have been posting the Steem price update since almost the very beginning of Steemit.com back in 2016 along with other content.
Many have came here to discuss the daily Steem price's and recent STEEM changes for now over 4 years.

If you tire of addictively looking at the charts every few minutes then instead just relax and look here for the average daily STEEM price for your daily plan or strategy.
And even if you are not planning to do anything with your STEEM I still recommend checking out these updates every so often.
So without further ado lets take a look at today's Daily Steem Price for 28/8/2021.

Here we are in August supposedly the time of year everybody goes on holiday and the nicest weather is set upon us. And so while we get rain every other day I can't deny that it's mostly remained warm, there were a few exceptions but hopefully no more freak downpours. Anyway since one of my superiors as left the company I have worked less volatile shifts and I can't even express how much it's improved many things for me. But I felt this was coming to it's end as shifts began getting more volatile, instead it turned out to be the end of something much more. I mentioned a few things during these pasts weeks as clues, like a %25 cut to our workload, notices of too many people working within the company, less people turning up for work, cut on eligible hours etc. You can probably already see where all this is going.. and so my boss called me the other morning and I expected to hear some boring speech about company values but instead I was shocked to hear that he announced our company was closing 😱!! yikes! He did however say that they are going to try and find "some" of us work. But obviously there is no guarantee that any of us can find employment elsewhere within the company. Hearing the news at first I felt uneased but soon after it was a feeling of mostly excitement to what could come next. I don't think the whole situation as fully sunk in yet, this could either be a good thing or a complete disaster going forward. I continue to plan my next move and options as information becomes available. But wont deny this is a huge bummer as it ruins many plans, as not knowing what the future holds places uncomfortable road blocks. There was some news on possible positions near me, or so I thought, it turns out to be further then I expected and so would definitely add up to higher travel costs. Talking to others they still think it would be worth it, well just about. I'm a little unsure to be honest, and the more I look into it the more I think I'm better off just leaving if no other options open. But for now I must wait and see what actual options I get "if any" as I believe we continue working until the end of November. Today I was off work and had no plans for seeing friends and so I wanted to use my time to look into some others future work related things. Yesterday I was surprised to actually see my boss working away in he's own office and not meddling with my work. I think they must of had some a long meeting to deal with on the day and honestly right now that's exactly what he should be doing more as some of these meetings are related to our employment. So I mentioned the other day apparently someone walked out on the job, I thought my boss must of upset the lady and since the place is closing she probably decided she's had enough of it all. But it seems that was not the case, the lady hurt her leg and so had to go home, yes we are all indeed a little confused as to who exactly started the overexaggerated rumour that she just stormed out. After work I have been taking the longer way home, saw some weird stuff on the way yesterday like there was some woman sitting on a bar stool in the middle of the pavement with a giant happy birthday balloon? Then there was this group of kids, who all looked like siblings to be honest, except for this one nerdy looking one, who seemed to be trying to get into a fight with one of the other boys, think he was trying to show off infront of the girls in the group but he just looked even more childish and desperate, not so weird but the fact they all looked like siblings was disturbing. Anyway the point is with these lockdowns regardless of still working during them I noticed some personal weight gain, and so I have continued to try and shed some of the weight off with tracking the number of walking steps per day and doing small daily workouts. I began doing this in April and will continue to do so until my work schedule won't allow for it anymore. But pleased to notice the weight is shifting, this firstly started around the beginning of May and then once again in July. Towards the end of July and August others began to also notice my weight lost so it definitely does take time. My goal was not to tell anybody until they mentioned it first, like that I would know for sure it's a truthful comment. While the fat is once again being stubborn to burn I still think I have to admit to myself that there as definitely been some progress, even if sometimes it doesn't feel like it, also there as been some muscle gain. I think I'm about %60 of the way to where I want to be, so pleased. For the workout I done one yesterday and today making in 4 in a row, I don't know why but it's beginning to feel good again as the last couple of times I felt tired but this could be something to do with mood, regardless today was easy which surprised as it's normaly harder on days off lol. As for steps we started the week good and so having reached a total today of 98k steps out of the 105k weekly target.

For a long time on Steemit users have wanted communities, the reason being users often complained it was difficult to find content they wanted or getting rewarded for their content creation efforts. For me personally finding content wasn't much of a issue, because I could find things under it's rightful tab. To which I think Steemit should still provide us these popular tags, this is because it's something many users from other websites understand and associate well with. Communities for a long time was to be the holy grail for Steems future success and while I don't doubt their usefulness a big problem was their lack of structure. If you want to have a successful community I would suggest you follow this guide Steemit Community Guidelines provided by the Steemit Team, honestly if I was making my own community that's how I would be building it.
