GRAB EVERY LAST OUNCE OF VALUE OUT OF THE POSTS THAT YOU CREATE PART 1

GRAB EVERY LAST OUNCE.png

We post our content and we wait. Hopefully we get an UpVote with some value from one of our Power Followers or perhaps a Dolphin that swims past.

If we get really lucky we might get some attention from a Whale.

But the chances are if you a Minnow then the engagement that you get will be from Minnows, or the Nano Influencers if you like.

So you are not going to be making big bucks from your posts. But what if you could maximise the love you get from your fellow Minnows?

Well to get more value from what you post you must first add more value

None of what you are about to be shown is rocket science. Infact every webmaster and blogger in the land does this and that is really just to attempt to keep their readers on their pages. Big sites all have one thing in common they all show you and link you to posts that have already been written, related posts if you like.

Let me give you an example of how this could work for you

Lets say you have 7 Steemit tips for success that you want to share. Well you could make a great post with all 7, a really great well structured blog.

You publish and then it pretty much dissapears from the feed. Only seen by your followers who were online at the time, so a tiny amount.

Now that article was great but because you are a minnow it becomes highly undervalued. Now let's say your a Dolphin and you do the same thing. Your great post is seen way way more cause you have a much moe established account and suddenly the rewards are rolling.

So how do we get every last ounce of value from our posts?

Well lets go back to the example. We have a post about 7 Steemit Tips. What if we split that post into 10 parts so...

7 STEEMIT TIPS - TIP 1 then the next post would be 7 STEEMIT TIPS - TIP 2 and the next 7 STEEMIT TIPS - TIP 3 .. well you get the idea. At the end Tip 1 links to Tip 2, Tip 2 to Tip 3, all the way up to 10. Then you could link them from 7 back down to 1 so that you have navigation both ways.

This might be a little difficult to visualize so take a look at my How To 8App Videos your see at the end that i link each video pretty much as i have described above.

Making sense?

So why do this?

Well because if you post one article it can take you 2 -3 hours if not more and your post will fly off the new posts screen faster than you can blink. Split your post into parts (if you have enough text and content to do this) and suddenly your have 10x the content which means your seen more. And because someone sees your Tip and it links to more of the same they may well be clicking through all 10. Your keeping readers on your pages for longer.

As you become established you can start to post big long articles as well as your split posts.
Everyone on Steemit will tell you big long posts are best and i don't disagree but if you have enough content that allows you to split post then go for it. Your be glad you did when the results are in.

This strategy can be taken further so that you always have navigation to other articles it is not just restricted to split posts, but more on this is Part 2

Let me know in the comments if you think of this strategy.

This is such a great post and I think regardless if you're a Minnow, Dolphin or Whale, a quality post that offers real value is what's important.

And I think that too goes for the length of the post, short or long, quality as apposed to quantity.

At this time with my journey I want to focus on short to medium posts and then as I make more progress I'll start with more long form posts.

Thanks for sharing @infobunny.

Thank you for mentioning the only time you should do this is when you have enough text/content for each post.

That is a good tip. Eheheh it is the battle to get people attention. The clickbait is

Nice strategy. :) I like the idea of linking the posts together. While this won't work for every post, it certainly has merit.
