STEEMIT TIPS FOR SUCCESS
Here are some simple Steemit Tips to make your experience enjoyable and profitable.
The following rules are in no particular order of importance
1 – Always add value
This is an absolute must. Everything you share should add value to those who are reading, it should reach out to them in some small way to drive some kind of engagement.
Just sharing a string of headlines and links can appear as spam to readers. What you share needs to be something that someone really wants to read.
2 – Use Relevant HashTags
Using the wrong tags is just spammy. Post with tags that are relevant to your content.
3 – Avoid negativity at all cost
Keep it positive, and you’ll never have a problem. Go negative, and not much good will happen. Remember what you say represents you.
4 – Never Spam or Hijack
If your going to interact with other members on Steemitl then do not hijack other members posts, don’t jump and add your own link. And definitely do not spam. That includes posting in multiple groups, you may only be posting once in each group but that is spamming and other members will see it.
5 – Make real comments
No one word comments like “Like” or “Nice” … they are hated and again appear as spam
6 - Your UpVote has value
Don't turn your UpVote into nothing more than a LIKE. Upvoting too much drains your vote power so that it has no value for others. Use your vote as a reward for members who post great content.
7 - Manage your feed and followers
The more followers you have the more your seen. But by following more to get follow backs you get a very very busy feed so manage your feed. You have an unfollow button. If your feed is flooded and it is too much take some action. Unfollow a few or bookmark your favorites

Give me a break, you have been here a year and have earned $232.72 LOL this site is Transparent, you're one of the few that should be giving tips how to be successful here. A couple of your posts are border line Plagiarism here. For eample look what you earned for reposting someone elses work here: https://steemit.com/steemit/@infobunny/big-shoutout-to-daynewright The proper thing to do was RESTEEM his post. You are not, nor have you ever been a Original Content creator. You simply feed off the rest of us who are by creating who to follow lists. And you have brought a couple other top 100 slugs just like yourself with you.
I am a bit confused - on the one hand we had this #tsufamily thing across every platform - always united -all together - now we have tons of them back here which is awesome but reading this makes me sad.
I hate drama - especially bring tsu drama here is the biggest nonsense. Especially I do not get the reason behind your comment @woodywood143 - can you elaborate?
@Woodywood143 where is this anger coming from? Firstly yes correct that is the value of my account but that is because i have used it as a bookmarking site / social share site. It is now only after the last 2 weeks that i have put any effort in here. I may have an account worth only a few hundred bucks but watch this space. Secondly so you don't like shoutouts, well anyone who has a blog or a product to sell or in @daynewright has an extension he is promoting loves shout outs as they bring in more hits and views. If you speak to Dayne your find he is very happy with what i did to the extent that he paid 2.00 to randomwhale for an upvote that is why it earned so much because of what Dayne himself did.
You see social media is all about reach and it is all about leveraging followers. Dayne has a great extension and his contact on my post to introduce me to it was enough to leverage me to act on his behalf. He had something that was useful to me and because it is useful i created a post telling everyone he is a guy to follow and that they should check out what he has created. Im sorry that you feel you had to post what you have. If you want to clear the air on messenger or somewhere then thats cool. I have known you on Tsu for a long time amongst other sites so not really sure why your raging.
