Everything you said about your strategy makes perfect sense! Interaction is so important in Steemit. I for one have lost some touch when it comes to interaction. Other things and projects keep me busy, I keep up the best I can but once my mind s focused on one thing it's stuck on that thing until I know it's functioning at 100%.
I used to post daily on my channel and with pretty good content to boost, along the way somewhere I drifted away from it. It shows, my interaction in my posts has gone down drastically, miss those days where I would almost not be able to keep up with all the comments. I need to get back to it, need to get back to posting and seeing that post spike up to $10+ without any help from pay for vote bots.
You are 100% right when it comes to the upvote philosophy. If you work hard you deserve to reward yourself for it. I know this is a bit of a rant about my own profile and recent activity but it was you who sparked the motivation in me. Need to get back to the old @scrooger and start posting the way I did... Projects are great but they should not get in your way that much. Will have to rework my plans and get time for it all. I am so happy you are doing well and your progress is great motivation for me. =)
All in all, keep doing what you are doing! You are doing really great. Your energy and positivity is rubbing off on other steemians!

I listened to it! Dinner and instead of a show I decided to just listen! Was pretty good mate! Everything you said came off so positive and good for your future Steemit goals. Liked it a lot! Was pretty long but well worth it to learn a bit more about being happy about my money.
Really liked the part where you talk about buying experiences. That for me has always been a bit better than a physical gift. We can link so much more to an experience than we can to an object.

We just had an experience gift this weekend. For our wedding my cousin got us a river rafting tour. We went with them. It was so freakin fun! The vid I posted today is about the trip.

Honestly I haven't seen anyone on this platform with such energy . I loved that ! But here's the thing , I seem to have putting putting all my energy to the community , over and over to same people and new people , with great comments and what not , but they don't do the same , why ? I put my heart in my posts as well .
It seems that people do not want to be generous back , they just want to keep getting . It's quiet sad to me
Well, I always upvote and leave comments on people's blog posts, I have the same problem, I hardly get upvotes and comments like I used to on here. And If I want to use my money to get a better PC, it will take awhile only getting 19-20 cents a post and barley anything a comment

That's actually something not many people know about. A lot of people think that posting to your own blog is the only way to make money on Steemit. But another great way is to comment on other posts! It's all about being involved in the Steemit community!
Yeah we have certainly seem the extremes of the way people act on here but when people see you everywhere voting like crazy they will remember it. If People don't know about me on this platform then I have failed.
Especally if the price dips and people get frustrated. If you outlast all those people and are able to still participate on here during the sluggish times it will pay off even if it can be frustrating at times to see the value of your account erode away partially.
That actually a pretty rad point for me to remember. If my steemvoter is set up just pumping out votes, then I will be really active even in slow times. People will remember that. I'll keep that in my back pocket.
Sounds like your strategy is to just be a decent contributor to the platform, which is really amazing when you think about it - the fact that the platform can inherently curate itself towards better content.
The thing is though, it's really easy. I used to use Reddit, and so much of what I put out into the community was either lost in the ether. It's really encouraging that the community on here is so positive and responsive. I never understood why people called Reddit toxic, and not that I do now, but I get it.
I think the main difference between Reddit and Steemit is social accountability. On Reddit it's easier to say something outrageous that you would never say face to face with someone.
On Steemit there is more of a community and flagging. This means more consequences for trolls. This keep things in check a little bit more.
I like the difference. I think its good for us to think through our statements. Glad to see you on the platform. Cheers.

I comment my ass off to earn , only last week has been good where I was able to get $200 besides that , it's 100 or below usually .
