Block Rush is a neologized term by @makafuigdzivenu to describe the exponential growth, adoption and exploitation of the Blockchain technology and industries by investors, entrepreneurs, software developers, enthusiasts, organizations and institutions.

The IoT would be worth over $11 trillion from the year 2020. A Blockchain powered IoT presents boundless opportunities.

Blockchain technology can be implemented into various systems to incorporate its basic features such as transparency, accountability and decentralization. Such systems include:

Internet of Things(IoT)

Blockchain powered systems are decentralized, economical, tamper-proof and scalable. This makes blockchain technology ideal to build smart city systems which are affordable, lack a single point of failure, cannot be compromised and are highly scalable.

Business

Blockchain technology has the potential to transform entrepreneurship, business and trade in various ways. Blockchain powered companies would have absolute product integrity, a decentralized mode of funding raising, a fair way of appreciating and compensation employees and a credible loyalty program.

Governance

The main factors affecting the efficiency of governments are corruption, political bias and inefficiency. Blockchain technology when applied to our e-government systems would reduce the need for bureaucracies while maximizing transparency, accountability and decentralization.

Sharing economy

Bitcoin is a peer-to-peer technology, and so is Blockchain technology. The main goals of the peer-to-peer movement is to achieve an economic system which functions directly among the people and does not depend on a middleman. Making systems work to perfection without a middleman is the how the Blockchain is designed to work. Blockchain technology is the ideal Sharing Economy tech.
