All of the cryptos are under constant threat as while the blockchain cannot be so easily brute forced the network can be slowed by massive DDOS attacks. Such is life, these threats will lessen as the mainstream corporate world continues to adopt block chain tech (see IBM) ... or once we reach quantum computing haha
