1. Appreciating Your Fellow Bloggers - Comment and Upvote

Here is the scenario, you visit a post of your interest. You drop your comment in the comment section of that post and then you leave without upvoting that post. Why is that? Was there any reason for doing that?

It is good to upvote those posts that you have left your comments. You have spent your time writing a comment on his/her blog that you like. After that you just say bye-bye. Why not just give an upvote as well? For my fellow newbies, it doesn't matter if your upvote value is 0.00 but you make your fellow bloggers happy and felt appreciated just by upvoting their blogs. I have read many bloggers especially newbies who felt disheartened that their posts especially the good ones received low responses. Mostly ended with 0.00 or perhaps the most up to 0.10 after all that hard work of researching and writing a good post... sigh.

2. Appreciating Your Blog Visitors - Comment and Upvote

Here is the scenario, someone visited your post and give you a good comment on your page, you replied to him/her. Okay, perhaps you think "that's it I have done my part." So where is the flaw here? You have done your part by replying to a visitor that have commented on your page but you have not upvoted their comments. Why don't you upvote their good comments? Why is that? Was there any reason for doing that?

I fully understood if you think it was not necessary to reply and upvote those scammers that will only say things like "I like your post, Nice Post, Good post, Amazing Post, Follow me". But it is not ethical to treat your fellow good quality bloggers who took their time to give good comments on your page and giving your blog a reputation enhancement. Isn't it wise to give them a little appreciation by upvoting them as well? This is a good ethical way to show your sincere support and appreciations to your fellow bloggers who spend their time visiting your blog and give you good comments on your page. It will also encourage your visitors to return again to your blog. You will be remembered and each time they see your post coming on the feed, they will surely drop by to appreciate you.
